Forums - Sony Discussion - I got a PlayStation Vita!

I only first played the Vita less than a month ago at my uncle's house, but I enjoyed it enough that I decided to purchase one when I found it for cheap. It arrived today in the mail! I also found a memory card for a fairly cheap price, too, as I needed it (i went with the original model as it has the OLED screen). The only game I have for it is Corpse Party: Blood Drive, which I had already owned before I got one. Here are some games that I'm looking for:

Persona 4 Golden (I already own and completed the PS2 version but want this one for it's updated features)
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (I already own this on PS2, PS3 and PS4, but it's my favourite game of all time so I want it)
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (I own this on PS3 too, but playing it on the go will be nice, and I can't really play on my PS3 that much as it's in the living room which my parents usually use)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (Same as above)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma II Plus (Same as above)
Dead or Alive 5 Plus (Same as above)
Persona 4: Dancing All Night
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma
Soul Sacrifice
Freedom Wars

What are some other games that you'd recommend? I was planning on getting the Danganronpa games and Virtue's Last Reward, but seeing as they're being released on PS4 I'm a bit hesitant.

Cool. I lova the system. Even though a memory card just died on me. Grrr. I have 3. 2 oleds and an aqua LCD. An under rated system imo. I have 8 million games for it, so hit me up if you need anything.

Get Akiba's Trip! My favourite game on Vita, even though it's pretty much the same as on PS3 and PS4. But fuck consoles, handhelds are way cooler, amiright? =P

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Virtue's Last Reward is excellent if you like that genre of games, I haven't heard that it's coming to PS4 though?

Gravity Rush, Killzone Mercenary, Touch My Katamari, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Wipeout 2048 (although a better version is coming out on PS4 soon), Uncharted Golden Abyss, Tearaway and LittleBigPlanet (best in series for dev made levels imo) are the best games I played, so if you like any of those genres those are the games I would recommend

Get The legend of heroes trails of cold steel, World of final fantasy or Dragon quest builders.

How the heck did you buy one? They don't sell them anymore. 😞

You should love it. It really is a solid device. Aside from throwing games at it, I don't know what else Sony could have done.

Try uncharted. It's a great graphical showcase and it's as fun as ever.

cool, it's a great system and now is the best moment to buy one because the library is good enough

Still want to get it. Does it do anything bizaar like the psp had? UMDs, etc.

Aside from having no usable memory built in, it's pretty solid. No real shortcomings on the hardware end of things. It could release today and not feel dated.

999 and VLR are being remastered as one game for PS4 and Vita (with voices and surely better gameplay for 999 ^^). But like Danganronpa, this kind of games is perfect for handhelds, so buying it on Vita could be recommended over the PS4 version.

I would add Steins;Gate, Steins;Gate 0 and the Project Diva games. You can also try the Neptunia series with Neptunia Rebirth 1. And if you didn't play it, you should buy the Corpse Party PSP game on the Store, it's really good and supposed to be way better than Corpse Party (I didn't play CP yet).
