What is the best Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed 6 6.12%

Assassin's Creed II 45 45.92%

Assassin's Creed III 5 5.10%

Assassin's Creed IV 32 32.65%

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood 10 10.20%

Total:98

Haven't played much of the series but I enjoyed the parts of 3 and 4 that I played.

AC 2 was great, 4 the most fun overall. Lots of tropical islands to explore with your very own pirate ship! AC 2 has the best puzzles, spatial and mental. AC 4 no puzzles and unfortunately some annoying eavesdrop stay close quests.
I gave up on the first one, boring. Brotherhood was good, not as good as AC2, but a worthy follow up. AC3 was pretty meh until you get to pilot the ship. Yet with AC4, no point in playing AC3.

Assassins Creed 3

lol... no. that was shit. Conor was shit, worst "Assassins" ever. he doesnt deserve that title because he is a fucking douche.

its Assassins Creed 2 obviously, say anything else and you are a hater.

Brotherhood was my favorite. It was everything that made II great (except maybe not as good of a story) plus so much more.

This.

If you could only play one though, it has to be AC II.

II or Brotherhood. The Ezio trilogy in general is the series high point to date. Black Flag is very good too. III is the weakest of the ones I've played. It has the worst assassination missions, an unlikeable main character and a lot of repetition in its environments.

4 is easily the best, and has the least boring AC lore and futuristic DNA crap. It's just a great Pirates simulation. Loads of grog and high seas adventure

Assassins creed 4: Black Flag. The exploration and open world is the best out of any Assassins creed game.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

As the poll says 4 and 2. I probably prefer 4.

Ac2 is by far the best traditional AC and BF probably my favourite pirate game ever.

Rogue which was last gen only probably my 3Rd fav.

*I've not played unity or Syndicate but I've played ever other. Got unity on sale for a $10 and will probably get Syndicate for the same next year.

My most played was Assassins Creed 3 because it was my first. It's also what I have fondest memories of. It had a terrible opening for x number of hours, that completely sold the rest of the game short, but I ended up enjoying it a lot.

I also liked the character dynamics between the father and son. It reminded me somehow of indiana jones and his father in the last crusade. I would have love it if they teamed up for longer.

I disliked all the future bits. I disliked many of the mechanics: constant waypoint following, silly numbers of random unengaging collectables and general lack of substance. However, it all seemed far more forgivable being the first one I played.

In all honesty Assassins Creed 4 is a better game in almost every way but 3 is the one I care most about.

For me, it's the second one, but I haven't played anything beyond Black Flag and none of the spin-off titles so I may not have the full picture. The newer ones seem to be a hot mess though.
