So, "his opinion is worthless but he's right". K

His opinion is not right. He is just repeating what everyone else is disscussing for a week. But of course, not everyone act as bad as him or try to make a video to look for attention.

I mean... it's not like he makes his money off of a youtube channel or anything. He should just write his thoughts about the Switch down in his livejournal, instead of making the videos his paid subscribers asked him to make. They literally asked him to make a video summarizing his thoughts on the switch, you know that right?

It's his job to talk about video games news. So you want him either to shut up because you don't like him, or to say something intentionally wrong (what nobody has said so far) to be different and worthy of your attention?

Right. Can we also do that to forum's users who have been wrong before, because their opinion is clearly worthless and they post to look for attention?

I doubt any forum poster has a name with "X was right". And if your job is to talk about videogames, do it in a professional form, not as a rabid forum dweller.

So he's a like some kind of Super Pachter.

He's openly enamored with Jim Sterling and in a one on one interview with him, acted as if he was as smart as Jim while gushing at his every comments.

He's nowhere near as witty and smart as Jim Sterling. No matter how much of a dick Jim can be at times for the sake of his show.

Edit - Deleted - I don't care.

I think people that keep hoping for Nintendo to release a Playstation or Xbox should get over that dream. Get those systems and play what they have to offer. I, for one, am glad that Nintendo continues to be unique in their approach to the console market. It's not going to be what Sony and MS fans want, but plenty of Nintendo fans are happy with it.

That's the name of his own segment. It was a phrase that Greg termed because ironically enough, Colin has a penchant for predicting things the other people don't see coming.

Yes, and the name of his show is basically him gloating about it. How more self-absorbed can you be?

It's his schtick. Love it or hate it, whatever. I don't care.

Easy to answer.

LOL! At least you admit it. Which makes you a little bit less self-absorbed than he is. Since he's pretty defensive when it's brought up to him.

Ugh. I hate that the "hot take" culture of ESPN and Fox Sports has invaded video games.

If you were expecting Switch to get the annual Call of Duty game and the annual Assassins's Creed game, then I'm not sure where you've been the last 15 years.

If you were expecting a components that fit into a 6 inch tablet form factor and also have to share space with battery and display components to put out comparable performance to an Xbox or a PlayStation, then I don't know what to tell you.

The Switch's launch line-up is fine. All launches are bad. Colin touts the new Call of Duty, new Assassins' Creed, and new Battlefield at launch for the other consoles. But were those games any good? I heard AC 4 was good, but it's one of NINE mainline Assassin's Creed games (and 11 more side games) to come out in under a decade.

In hindsight, they're all games that were fun at the time because there was nothing else to play, but can be had for a few dollars today. I'm willing to bet that people will still be talking about Breath of the Wild decades from now. Just like Wii Sports and Twilight Princess. Just like Mario 64. Just like Super Mario World.

Beyond launch, we've got a beefed up Mario Kart 8, a new Splatoon, Fire Emblem Warriors, and Mario Odyssey all coming in 2017, with a bunch of smaller titles filling the gaps I'm sure.
