well trash compared to other versions, was a bit slow and clunky. With the capacity touch screen should be better to navigate.

The Wii U version is actually really good. Better than the Android and Ipad versions at least. Only problem is, that you can't change the application language on Wii U itself, but you have to sign in on the Netflix webpage.

I think even the Wii version works pretty well.

well idk, maybe mine was broken or something cause Netflix is more fluid on my tablet than on the wii u

If it is a ram issue for the Switch, Nintendo could come up with a multimedia cartridge that would have a web browser and Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video ect. Why are they putting parental controls and voice chat on your phone? Because I think the Switch will have next to no OS on the system itself, and dedicate all its ram for games.

Doubt its any hardware issue.

I mean the 3DS had Netflix for crying out loud.

I'm guessing they looked at Wii U and 3DS netflix usage and though "whatever, no rush"

And seeing how they also are using phones it sounds like for their online stuff, it really seems they are just using this systems entire hardware all on the games. No extra O.S. bogging anythign down or apps filling up space

Actually, using all of the ram for games is the best way to go. Remember the Dreamcast? The game developers put whatever OS they wanted on the game disc because the system had virtually nothing by itself. Having the Switch be a games only machine is a big plus in my book.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

It can't be too hard to put Netflix on the Switch, I'm sure. Netflix is on almost everything.

As long as it does, then that's fine

Could be also the internet connection. Although, I'm using a 2014 Ipad Air (on 4G internet) so it's already two to three years old, Wii U is Wifi and cable. Maybe it works better on the newer devices. Although, the problem is more likely how the interface works. I do think that the Netflix app on anything is pretty well thought out to use.

I really like Netflix on Wii U - you even get to use (wired) headphones while watching a show on TV.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

By now everyone should have smart TVs, fire stick, fire tv, roku, chromecast, etc on their TVs for Netflix. This is no different than Nintendo never supporting CDs, DVDs or Blurays. There is just no compelling reason why this is important now in this gaming device.

Hell, my kids TVs all have chromecasts so they can cast anything from their chromebooks or phones.

What made it suck for me was lack of surround sound.

I have Netflix integrated in my TV. And it's pretty much on everything else at this point. So it's of no consequence for me.

This is incredible. Switch should be eliminating the need for more devices, not adding more need for them. If this is what Nintendo can add to the hardware world, then they really need to get out. I absolutly love their games, and I can not wait to get Super Mario Odyssey, but it really irks me that I have to pay $300 for what is essentially a dedicated Mario player. Nintendo games need to come out on PS4 and XBO.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

It's not a huge deal but I'm starting to wonder what is up with the OS.

Like I said in another thread, I wonder if they may allow an app on the Switch which once you press it lets you access your smartphone OS on your Switch (iOS or Android). Now wouldn't that be interesting.
