No, but I was interested in the Switch 46 21.80%

No, but I wasn't interested in the Switch 23 10.90%

I plan on buying a Switch during the upcoming holiday season. Work and my PS4 won't let me touch it if i get it now anyway, but I'm very, very interested in the console.
And yet, BotW is just "meh" to me. I tried out several Zelda games, and besides Ocarina of Time, none of them really impressed me that much (the 2D ones in particular i really didn't like) and I'm not really into open world games in general, so i might not even get BotW until a year or two down the line.

The only zelda game I ever played was Hyrule Warriors. The other zelda games didn't interest me.

However....... Breath of the Wild came........... and OH BOY!

Pocky Lover Boy!

I'm one of those guys the OP is talking about. Zelda is the make or break game whenever I'm thinking of buying a Nintendo console.

When N64 came out I had to own it because of Zelda Ocarina. And I bought one.

When Gamecube came out, I didn't have to own it because I thought Wind waker looked too much cartoon and child (I don't think that today. I adore the style of Windwaker today).

When the Wii came out I liked Twilight Princess but the Wii felt like a casual toy so I couldn't buy it because of social pressure (I blame Elpresador mostly).

When Skyward Sword was about to come out for the Wii I made a bet with Khuutra about the Metacritic of Twilight Princess versus Skyrim and I won. So I couldn't buy a Wii because Zelda Skyward Sword was inferior to Elder Scrolls, plus I didn't like the design where it looked painted with a brush.

I bought a 3DS because it had Zelda Ocarina but it was too hard and I never completed the first temple.

I planned to buy the next Nintendo console thanks to Zelda: Birth of the Wild, but then I thought this is a Nintendo version of Skyrim and dumbed down, I will most likely beat the game without challenge, and since the Switch is a handheld hybrid, not even 50% of the power of an Xbone, and I don't like handhelds I might wait for a price drop.

But if Birth of the Wild gets 95% Metacritic I will buy a Switch no matter the price.

I like Zelda but I'm not a huge fan. BOTW looks very good, but Mario Odissey is my killer app.

I've never played a Zelda game though I think I might get this, but I'm way more interested in Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Fire Emblem Warriors, Yooka-Laylee, Dragon Quest XI, Minecraft, Rime, Sonic Mania, Sonic 2017 and the potential of games to come like Pokémon and Animal Crossing!

I am getting Switch and not buying Zelda. I am not a big fan of the Zelda franchise.

Easy question, I want to know who, amongst those of you that SERIOUSLY considered buying the Nintendo Switche BEFORE the presentation, are not interested in Zelda. I ask this to find out what is the percentage of the potential buyers that has a right in complaining the lack of launch titles because imho Nintendo made the right choice leaving Zelda as the only launch title (let's be onest 1-2 Switch is casual rubbish) since it would put in the shadow any other game. Feel free to explain why you're not interested in Zelda, either because it's not your cup of tea or because you don't like the route they took with the lates game or whatever else.

So people who like Zelda games but expect more than one good game at launch have no right to complain?

Me,

I never liked Zelda in 3D, i liked zelda 1-3 but after this was dead for me (but new one may get my interest, i need see test and few lets play)

I want buy switch in futur, for Fire emblem, and Xenoblade 2, maybe the square enix rpg.

But this probably not be before holydays next years unless they price drop this years.

If Fire emblem, Xenoblade or Pokemon were at launch, I wouldn't have gotten Zelda day 1.
