I'm not asking anything from you. If you think this deserves a moderation, go for it. If telling someone "you love this guy/game/developer/whatever" is bannable, then consider me surprised. If that's mocking, well that wasn't intended as such. If saying that a lot of people loves Rol (or should I have used the word "like"?) is insulting, he should have just come forward and say "I don't love him, you are wrong about that", and be done with it. I'd retract what I said. But he didn't, did he?

The way GNM goes about it though, his wording and way of arguing Rol's case, points to him liking him a whole lot. Putting him on a pedestal. And many of his arguments center around the fact that Rol is a greatly liked character on VGC and that it should in turn give him special privileges. 

You wouldn't be getting moderated for telling someone "you love this guy/game/developer/whatever", you'd be getting moderated for taking aim at his character with both of your posts and mocking him. Your history with GNM would go against you too. Context is key. I'd hate to give someone "special treatment" on a forum, but this just happens to be one of those times I don't think an attack deserves any real action.

I wasn't mocking him. FFS. Is it true that he loves Rol and his contribution? Is it true that YOU do?

Is it mocking you to point it out? And bringing it up with GNM wasn't an attack on him. He basically expressed that in his comments in the thread. It came accross as that to me, which I said. I didn't point a finger at him telling him "you love him so your view about this subject is invalid". I said that the fact that people love Rol has no bearing in the matter. Rol should behave just like the rest of us, regardless of what his fanbase thinks. GNM said that the fact he is liked and how smart he is, should somehow grant him special treatment. Nowhere did I say that loving Rol is wrong. I said that being a loved member of the community shouldn't put you above the rules. There's nothing more to it.
