Forums - Music Discussion - Soulja Boy is buying everyone $150 Bluetooth earbuds

Yeah absolutely not.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

These are his own brand I think.

I remember getting igrado's for £9 when I subscribed to Whathifi for 3 months. That was bargain headphones of awesome quality but this just looks like a rip off. If you actually get the headphones they will probably be awful.

Basic bluetooth headphones in the UK start from just over a £5. Not convinced this is anything other than clever marketing. Also why on earth would you ever want wireless headphones with a portable device. The device is with you anyway and normally wired headphones will never suffer interference, a discharged battery or connecting issues. Just seems like a retro step in quality and convenience.

Done and done. Thanks for the heads up!

These are probably $20 bluetooth headphones. 3 hours charge on medium volume is like nothing, specially when you are outside. Thanks but I will skip

Oh wow that's some buuuuuuuuulsh*t.

Glad I didn't cave at first sight. It's so easy to get caught in the flashyness of the website.

Bluetooth headphones are desired largely because you don't have to deal with the cord. Particularly when walking or running, wired headphones may be knocked loose by the motions traveling from your body to the wire, combined with whatever you may be doing with your phone or player of choice at the same time. As well, when working, if headphones are permitted, a cord is often an inconvenient thing you often have to shift around depending on how busy your space is.

It isn't as if wired headphones are useless anymore, but not having to deal with three feet of headphone wire is an appealing prospect in many situations.

I personally bought my wireless pair exclusively for when I go running. They stay in my ears better, and I don't have to worry about cord motions pulling the buds lose every few moments.

People were warning posters, but it seems people read the first post and then move on.... lets be honest no one is going to sell $150 headphones for such a small amount unless they are not worth the price they are asking. But of course people and "offers"

I looked around. Found a few Reddit post about the company. They are legit and this isn't the first time they've done promotions like this with older models of their headphones.
