Not surprising that the game has very mixed views from people after that was the case with the critics

People who it clicks with seem to really love it, those it doesn't click with are really not impressed

Reviewed well, finally being delivered to me today, i was supposed to get it day one since i pre ordered it on amazon like 2 months ago but something got fucked up but regardless i get to play a masterpiece today and i am hyped as fuck

I'm about 2 hours into and really enjoying it. Trying to do the 5 hour speed run. Was going to do both the speedrun and flawless trophy together, but failed miserably.

It's definitely prettier than in YouTube videos. Especially with HDR. I just hope they can patch the framerate issues for 4K. 

IMO the game deserves at least a metascore of 88. Too many reviewers have become harder on games over the years. The people giving TLG sixes and sevens would have given Shadow of the Colossus the same scores. Basically TLG is an excellent game, and a lot of reviewers would pan SotC had it come out in modern times. They've just lost touch.

Edit: Also it seems the day one patch solved a lot of the camera, and framerate issues. This makes a lot of reviews outdated and wrong. 

Why rush through? I doubt you'll make it the first time anyway. Looking at the trophy list I still haven't scratched the surface after 6 hours.
Currently the completion rate stands at 0.1% for under 5 hours, 9.5% for 15 hours, 9.7% overall (and under 30 hours). It's only been 3 days, I'm curious how long my relaxed experimental approach will take. I'll probably still miss some of those barrels (0.1% completion rate). Also don't know if you just have to touch them or if Trico actually has to eat them. I kinda dumped one off a cliff trying to lure him down lol.

I'm sorry Trico, I'll get you a new lunch, I promiss.

I plan on doing at least 3 playthroughs. So I'll definitely get the full experience. I just wanted to try to get those two trophies out of the way since they will be the most difficult. 

As for the barrels you need to feed them to Trico. Not only will that give you the trophy, but it will unlock costumes for NG+.
