Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony seems to not care about sales anymore.

Ps4 could had been its absolute best year in NA yet if Sony did some Cod bundles and Watch Dogs 2 and sell them at Black Friday for 249$ or offer games but it seems that Sony does not give a shit and will just have Uncharted bundle trough the Holidays and be done with it.

What the fuck? All the bundles went to EU, where I live there are insane deals right now with a shit load of bundles flying of shelves on daily basis, the best selling is the 1tb Infinite Warfare bundle and the Trio Pack bundle with Last of Us and Uncharted 4.

But in NA there are no bundles, nada, nothing, zero.

I mean what the heck is going on at Sony? They could have a insane November and December but they don't want.

They have new hardware. Don't really need a lot of bundles.

They're still the most sold monthly worlwide.

Numbers of hardware doesnt mean nothing when you are making tons of money and I still on the lead. Ps4 sold 15k more than xbones in October in uk . While Sony made roughly 20mil in revenue MS made 9mil.

Don't know where you got your numbers from but Xbox One sold 25k more than PS4 is October, X1 -100k X1 and PS4 -75k

Probably because they don't want to enter a warprice with MS while they can have nice profits.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

They know that they will still come out on top because of the Pro.

They're prioritizing profit right now. They have two new product launches that just recently happened, they have no reason to try and fight out the US or UK when the they maintain a healthy flow of sales in those countries and across the globe. Not to mention the fact that they're market leaders in every country.

It looks to me like they're following through on a business strategy that they planned out long ago. They haven't been reactionary since the beginning of the gen, why start now

With the lack of sales for Watch Dogs 2 and the decline of CoD, I'd say Sony knew what they were doing by not bundling with those games.

There so far ahead what's the point in competing anymore. They are focusing on profits.
