In the recents weeks we saw some disappoint numbers from some new release.
We talk of course about games like Titanfall 2, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, or Dishonored 2, which sold way less than the previus games.
Today GFK released the week ending 19 November in UK, and was the first week for Watch Dogs 2.
We already knew pre orders were low, according to Ubisoft, but we are still talking about a huge drop.
Watch Dogs 2 apparently sold only about 1/5 of the first game in UK during launch week, we know this because we have numbers for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which are less than 80,000 units this week, and we know Watch Dogs 2 is under that.
The first Watch Dogs has sold 388,000 units first week in UK back in May 2014, that’s a huge difference.
We’ll see how Watch Dogs 2 will do this year, maybe deals during holidays and bundles will help, but as for now, this is quite bad.
