Not a chance. Nintendo isn't Sony.

Are you really serious?

Sony released one of the biggest ps3 games (the last of us) just some month before the Ps4 release, even if that game would be a HUUUGE system seller on launch. They released a remastered version 1 year later.

Nintendo moved retro studios wii u game to switch, moved zelda to switch (without the switch that game would be released in 2015 - early 2016), most likely moved the 3d mario game to switch (after 3d Wörld there was no early switch release planned so it was a wii u game) and probl even more.

The had released 3 major A-AA titles in the whole year 2016 (star fox, Paper mario and Twilight Princess). Thats it.

The moved all good wii u titles as ports/remastered to the LAUNCH of the switch (sony remastered many games as well but release was years AFTER ps4 launch made the ps3 lineup relevant).

Nintendo certainly is ALOT worse to their fans then sony.

For a Sony fan you sure seem to have a hard time noticing which game I'm referring to. Selective memory is a great thing.

Im not even a sony fan im just stating facts. I think its obvious who is the fan here.

also im wondering about which game are you speaking? The last guardian? LMAO you want sony to release that game in 2016 (when it gots finished) on the ps3? LMAO. Nintendo hadnt released Rodea the sky soldier on the Wii as well, and that version was even finished.

TLG most likely wasnt even able to run on the ps3 anymore because of the changes in development. The switch on the other hand is similar powerfull to the wii u (ps4 is 10x as strong as ps3), so nintendo could easily release the new 3d mario to the wii u as well. They fckd wii u owners hard and dont even care.

Regrads power differences between wii u and switch:

Switch will using a custom tegra chip based on x1 or x2.

Benchmarks: Trex 1080p offscreen

Nvidia tegra x1: 120 FPS

Ipad Pro: 163 FPS

unanounced Tegra chip with a codename: 190 FPS (they removed that but it had a benchmark 1-2 weeks ago, google it).

Radeon HD 4850 (Wii U): 150 Fps

HD Radeon 7870 (ps4): 533 FPS

So all switch games could easily run on the wii u. But nintendo wont release them on wii u. There is no question.

I thought you would provide reasoning. What's the difference between March versus summer for the Wii U?

They should drop the Wii U version so they can get it out ASAP, then resume production once the Switch version is done

Personally I don't care since I'm getting the Switch anyway, but I don't think it would be a smart move on Nintendos part. People have been waiting years for this game and they might not be interested in the Switch.

God so many drama queens lately...always seeing the negatives...

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

well it depends on the switchs hardware. If they are using the tegra x1 chip, the wii u version will most likely be superior because of better peformance.

I suppose it's possible for the Wii U version to be canceled, but I just don't see it happening. It wouldn't make much sense to put that much work into it, only to drop it at the end of development.

I see it being a Twilight Princess route, where both versions will release, and for some reason the Wii U version will be worth more... maybe? It wouldn't matter anyways though, as the Wii U version will likely be available via digital anyways.

HD 4850 is a 1000 gflops gpu but wii u only has 176 gflops. Architecture may be similar but actual performance far less on wii u. Switch will be easily far superior even if the switch spec is at the lower end of expectations.
