Hollywood is taking this whitewashing stuff too far.

Tiger Lilly as a white European

Egyptians as Europeans in Exodus

Hell they even whitewashed the fucking Sphinx in Egypt!

But there's always the token black guy in action movies right?

They whitewashed the Sphinx?

Remember blackwashing a norse god?

This really goes both ways. Though the motives are different.

Those are different though, since Exodus is set in a country that didn't have white people at the time, and Tiger Lilly was supposed to be Native American.

Wally West
Iris West
Nick Fury
Heimdall
Electro
The Gunslinger
The main character in Magnificient 7
Annie
James West
Deadshot
Perry White
Fagin

What do all these characters have in common?

They originally were white, but nobody cares about Nick Fury's race anymore.

I would say they problem with diversity is on the opposite side... no problem creating dozen of new characters and stories to portray diversity... but making a lesbian, black iron man is unnecessary.

Second one is Fantastic 4.

We don't talk about that movie, the newer Fantastic 4, it never happened.

Now go about your business people.

Is that the one where twins from white parents are white and black?

That wouldn't even be Iron Man, since it'd be Iron Woman, unless she identified as a man.

This hurts my fanboy ways. Twins? No, just brother and sister but ones that are important to the Marvel Universe, after all, the FF are Marvel's first family. So included in that was a family dynamic. They cast Michael B Jordan as Johnny Storm (mates with the director) and cast Kate Mara as Sue Storm. They were very different, Franklin Storm was cast as a black guy so Sue was the adopted (yet older) one. So to some it lost a part of the family dynamic that was part of Sue and Johnny's relationship. It felt like they were just like step-brother and sister, like they knew each other, had to tollerate each other but that was it. Now make them both black and there might have felt more family dynamic between them.

Of coruse Kate Mara's acting in the film was so bad...

... wait forgot. Er I mean...

What F4 film?

Hmm, pie.
