Yeah, you are right.But even if it ported, they will be enhanced editions, not "originals".So even though Wii U will lose overall value, I think it will still be an item that collectors will look after, because it will have an unique version of the games that were ported to the Switch.

My LT prediction in my sig for wiiU was almost spot on. Actually, they might have shipped a last 300-400k wiiU's in october for holidays which would bring wiiU near 14m.

Predictions for LT console sales:

They will, next year for 3DS will mostly be like Wii U last games, ports, spinoffs and small projects..

Nintendo apparently doesn't want any Wii U's hanging around retail stores when the Switch launches. Sad, but probably wise. We never did get that price cut.
