Skyrim Remastered’s Trophy List Revealed, Mods Disable Trophies

The trophy list for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has been revealed ahead of the role-playing game’s re-release. It’s worth noting that those who plan to play the massive open-world game with mods enabled won’t be getting trophies, as mods will disable them. So, Trophy hunters will have to play the game regularly.

It the same for Fallout 4 at least on PC anyway.

Looks like I'll be sticking to the old version on PC then, since I'm not playing with Bethesda's horrible stock UI and I still want achievements (and the new version doesn't even seem like much of an improvement).

Wouldn't want to risk the high status and integrity of trophies.

I'll admit I never gave it much thought until I came across the article.  Just spreading the love.  

since Fallout 4 disabled them as well, this is extremely obvious.
After all there could be a mod simply unlocking all of them by starting the game. Sucks for those who would only use cosmetic mods though.

I never really understand why anyone would want achievements or trophies, I have the notifications disabled and I try to pretent they dont excist, so im downloading a mod right away to make sure they are not-present at all lol

One thing I actually love about nintendo is they never included this crap, rewarding grinding or multiple playtrough or playing things online is just horrible for me personally :P

Going off on a tangent, I think it was a pissing contest with Microsoft and Sony.  Microsoft originally had the achievements.  When Sony followed suit, they originally didn't require developers to include trophies.  Apparently, achievements were enough of a selling point because Sony later made trophies a requirement with every game forward.
