Wow, 3D screen! Too bad NX won't use such a screen!

Didn't the president of the Pokemon company confirm the NX is a hybrid? So this could still be the concept to some degree.

LOL! This is the exact rumor! Maybe Nintendo faked the leakers out or something and showed them this. Or Eurogamer is just stupid. If by chance this is what the NX will be...Nintendo....you have my prayers.

A recap of the video would have been nice.

Also, not quite sure what to think of this. SMD did have one big legit software libeup leak, but it doesn't sound like he has any more info on NX than the next guy. He also comes off really salty about the eurogamer rumor for no good reason, wich I don't get.

I agree with SMD that it would be weird if NX ends up being something similar to that device, although it's not impossible. Of course, if NX is like that, Nintendo will get a nice lawsuit from them... and rightfully so.

I guess we'll have to wait until Nintendo reveals the damn thing.

for those who didnt watch the video. It showed off a product being used called Morphus X300. Its basically what Eurogamer is talking about, to the T. 

I dont know what the hold up could be. I mean it isn't like they are focused on the Wii U...

If SMD is right about the timescale and no immediate market for that other product, Nintendo could have required the needed rights/patents if needed. It's not something we would know off at this point either way.

That could be easy but time consuming to find out. According to the video, that device was revealed more than a year ago, so I guess someone could search for Nintendo patents, or threads about them over here, to see when Nintendo patented the idea of detachable controllers.
