Nintendo. No contest.

Overall best library would go to Sony.

Even with how bad this generation has been for them Nintendo still takes it.

Nintendo by a country mile.

For all their numerous and egregious failings this generation, they still retained their position as one of the finest video game developers on the planet with titles like Mario Kart 8, Tropical Freeze, Xenoblade X, Splatoon, and Pikmin 3.

Probably Nintendo but why use such an odd criteria?

It is like asking which restaurant has the drinks. They are important but you can't forget the food.

Because adding to the criteria changes the meaning of the thread.

Unless you just want to go grab a few drinks and aren't hungry

nice leaving out Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank, Until Dawn, Infamous First Light, Driveclub, LiitleBigPlanet 3, The Last Of Us Remastered, God Of War 3 Remastered, Journey Collectors Edition, The Heavy Rain And Beyond Two Souls Collection and a lot of other japanese games, indie games and VR games

What curl said. I don't think there's been such a significant gap between Nintendo and the competition in terms of first-party output since the SNES era. It's due to two things: Nintendo and its partners maintaining their excellence and competing first-party studios regressing. If you added in 3DS it would be an absolute bloodbath.

Even if the question was first AND third party libraries, I'd argue Nintendo comes out on top. Most of the great games this gen have been homegrown Nintendo titles or "indie" games. WiiU and 3DS support most of them.

I take Gravity Rush and Bloodborne over anything Nintendo or MS has to be honest
