Homefront: The Revolution.  He complained about it a few times.  I guess he would be much more respectful if his country was invaded.  It just made me laugh.

"Your North Korean adversaries in Homefront: The Revolution are referred to as Norks. Given the more common colloquial use of that particular term, it'd be funny if it weren't so unpleasant: in Homefront: The Revolution the word Norks is used solely to refer to people from North Korea in a pejorative fashion, which is the very definition of a racial slur. I must have heard the word Norks hundreds of times during my playthrough and every instance was more painful than the last."  http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-05-17-homefront-the-revolution-review

That's ridiculous. They're getting criticised for including something in the game that's probably quite realistic (e.g "gooks" for the north vietnamese or "huns" for germans in WW1)

If you find something like that unpleasant, you shouldn't be reviewing a war game. War is supposed to be unpleasant.

Lol Polygon seem to not actually like games at all and give bad reviews based on "one of the characters said something sexist"

Quite a few of their writers are ex-Kotaku iirc

Gamespot. Angry joe. Nuff said.

Of the few I've paid attention to, GameSpot.

Review sites that I don't trust based on evidences.

Polygon : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTiTPh81Qlw
http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35836

Kotaku : They were under Gawker Media Group of all company.

Famitsu : Jojo's Bizarre Adventure : All Star Battle Incident.

For other website, I just find them as helpful personal opinion, unless they are completely contradictory.

Did some digging on a few of the most mentioned ones.

Gamespot had a huge scandal ten years ago, over Army of Two, or Kane and Lynch. Long story short. People got fired for telling the truth.

Edge = GamesRadar+ Different name, same bad reviews.

Metrogame Central: Always a dissenting opinion. Not that bad. Like Edge, but more conservative in dishing out the super low scores.

So calling other people ugly names was what crossed the line for him after all that violence?

What game was it that was reviewed?

Wow.

Artistic freedom just becomes so limited with this thought-police around everywhere. It's so sad.

Dammit, I think I have a growing list. The simplest way to put it is any reviewer on any magazine, site or channel that has given games like GTA, RDR, FIFA, COD etc straight 9-10/10's yet at the same time knocked points of other games for not being innovative, or not offering anything new / different. Sites that knock one game down for something and then ignore / rave about the same thing in another game.
