What Are You Buying?

PS4 Slim. 4 3.96%

PS4 Pro. 41 40.59%

I'm sticking to my original PS4. 35 34.65%

Undecided. 6 5.94%

The PlayStation is not my cup of tea. 15 14.85%

Total:101

Still waiting for games that interest me and I can't play on my PS3/Vita/PC. If I were to choose a model, I'd rather buy the old PS4 with 1 Tb HDD.

Maybe I'll upgrade when the PS4 Pro 2 comes out.

Going to get the Pro once I've played all games I want that won't have a patch for the new system

They still haven't solved my problem with the PS4 family: forced fees to play online. Until they don't eliminate that (and considering the cash that brings, they won't), I will not support the product. It's high armed robbery.

Buy it when it's on sale and don't pay for the ps plus service.

thats what I am doing

It's not a question of money, most of the games I want for the PS4 are single player, and I have a perfectly good PC to play multiplayer. It's a question of practises. If we as consumers send the message that online fees are not a big deal, they will keep doing it, and worse, other companies will start to consider them too. When the 360 was the only one charging for fees, people were fine with it, and it sold around the same numbers as the PS3. When Sony saw this, they charged for their online services too, and people were too hyped for the PS4 to notice, or even care about it.Now the two big home consoles now have online fees, and they can charge whatever they want, because they know the other one won't drop the model either.

If the trend continues, what's to stop Nintendo from charging for their services too? Unlikely, but it's a scary possibility. Or even worse, what if EA, Ubi and Activision start charging for their online in their PC games? First with the older games (with excuses like keeping the servers alive) and then starting with their newer games. Imagine every PC CoD fan paying 4,99€ per month to play their game, all that sweet money going to Activision directly instead of Sony/MS? The same with other ones. It's going to get worse and worse. And people just accept it.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Same here.  I'm certain when 4K players get cheaper that Sony will release a Pro with a 4K player built-in.  Until then I'll stick with my original PS4.

My original plan was to buy Slim but since Pro is not as expensive as I thought it would be I might get it. I don't know we'll see how much money I can get, one thing is for sure tho, I'm getting a PS4 this year.

FYI, I'm not paying for PlayStation Plus now, and I'm not planning on paying for it when I get my Pro.  Also, I'm nore of a single player gamer.  I personally believe that you should only pay to play online when it's an MMO or in game purchases.

I'll wait for a Pro/PSVR bundle. After that I'm gonna start praying for FFXV at 60 fps.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Hopefully a pal will lend me a ps4 for a weekend or two when Horizon ZD comes out. If not, a vanilla ps4 will do.

Ps4 Pro. FFXV just might look even better on it and of course, run more stable.
