Forums - Gaming Discussion - Pokemon Go Loses More Than 15 Million Daily Users in a Month

Everyone is blaming the loss on the fact that it's a mobile game, but Pokemon GO's decline is mostly due to all of the bugs and glitches present with the game (most notably, the tracker issues). Niantic really needs to get it together before the decline continues

Did you see what the latest patch fixes? Now you can ask your class trainer for an idea about what a pokemons stats might be... (or use an IV calculator on them, far more effective) and now your Pokemon will correctly faint when returning from Gym protecting rather than remaining at 1hp.

I mean... Niantic are really on the ball with combating the issues the real players are having with this game... I was always so annoyed that my Pokemon didn't require a revive, and now they do, I can see millions of these players rushing back now that this has been fixed!!!

Yep. Everybody knows that something is different. My whole entire job was playing this and currently, not anymore. I haven't opened it up in over 2 weeks.

When Niantic removed the tracking feature, they screwed themselves. Game is totally uninteresting without the hot cold pokemon aspect. No other aspect of the game is interesing enough to warrant this a daily play game.

I started playing Spider Man Unlimited. Awesome game!

I think its the games shallowness and design that are the reasons. Compared to real Pokemon games, it's about as deep as a puddle of water. There's simply not much to do in it and it gets old quickly. Then, there's the whole issue of having to freakin' drive and walk all over the place to catch things. I mean, what the hell were they thinking? People aren't going to play this game once the weather gets really cold. In Chicago, it can get below zero for months. No one is going to walk around in sub-zero weather, fighting hypthermia and snow drifts to catch make believe monsters.

It's just a bad concept over all.

The real reason for the decline is that people are just tired of encountering Pidgeys and Rattatas 98% of the time lol

What's more surprising is that it still has around twice as much as they have lost..

I would need to see similar graphs for other popular mobile games for that chart to mean anything to me. Is that normal, better than average, worse than average? I don't know.

For what it's worth, it does look like the decline is starting to level out some.
