This screams F-Zero for the NX. I really hope it becomes a reality. FAST Racing Neo was fantastic and having Shin'en work on F-Zero would be a match made in heaven.

Well, Shin'en is so close to Nintendo that some think it's a second party studio, so hearing that they'll keep working with them can't surprise anyone.

But I agree with Stefan.De.Machtige, the wording of that answer seems to hide something.

Hey, if Nintendo is not going to do anything with it, why not letting Shin'en try it? They already proved their games are great, and with Nintendo's assistance they could pull it off. Plus, that would make every indie dev in the world want to put their games on Nintendo consoles, just by the hope of using one of their properties.

If they manage to work on F-Zero its not like they rocked up made an exclusive game for Nintendo and were then handed a Nintendo IP. Theyve been at this for years. Excluded from that list are just 2 games for PS4, the only 2 games theyve ever made for non Nintendo consoles.

with all the dormant IPs that Nintendo has do you really think they'd have the time to make it tough ?

I would love it if Nintendo would turn them into a defacto second party like with Next Level Games, and just hand them Nintendo IP and say "we'd like you to make this game for us, will you do it?"



The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

              I personally can't wait to see what they could pull off on the NX. They once said that they would like to work on a Wave Race game, Nintendo should definitely let them do it. It would be much better than just keeping the IP dead.

If Wave Race was to come to NX, I would bite day one. 

Yeah, definitely. I feel like they could also tackle the 1080 Snowboarding franchise and become the new NST. Make it happen, Nintendo!

One thing's for sure, as a Shin'en game, it will look beautiful and run at 60fps. If anyone can show off NX's technical capabilities, it's these guys. They've been at the graphical forefront of the last 5 (excluding Gamecube) Nintendo systems.
