We are 7 months away from march 2017, the possible NX release date (according to some reports).

The WiiU was announced one year and half before it was release, the Xbox  One was announced 6 months before the release date, and some people say it was rushed into the market before its optmization, which, being a day owner buyer myself, I believe in part: my console had some hipcups along the way, but by the most part is a decent gaming machine, althought my PS4 is indeed better in some aspects, specially in design.

So, it is time we know, and I really would like to see Nintendo give another try in the console bussiness, since the WiiU was not very successful and mine is acumulating dust for a long long time.

I know next to nothing about the NX, only heard the same rumours all of you have.

So, it you guys have any SOLID evidence, I want your report.

The name of the game is NX I WANT TO KNOW, so the rule is: NO posts without NX pictures, or info, or rumours, or game announcements.

I will start.

There is a rumour about detachable controlers, there is a picture about how this COULD look like:

The truth is... We really know nothing and everything is pure speculation based on patents... (And sources that no one knows anything about)

I predict whenever it does come out there will be a ton of Nintendo lied threads on reddit because so many people are reading into, and projecting in their own minds how it going to be.

You can't handle the truth!

Son, we live in a world where companies hold secrets, and these secrets are key to billions of dollars. Whose going to leak them to the public? You? Nintendo employees have a greater responsibility than you could imagine. You curse their executives because you have that luxury. The luxury of not having to sit in on every meeting where someone brings up a terrible idea for hardware that still has to be given enough consideration that good ideas starve in the process. And while it's ugly, its how Nintendo makes consoles. You don't want the truth because deep down, you are grateful for these corporate suits. For them, words like internal reviews and profit margins are lofty goals. To you, they are punchlines. I have no inclination to humor a man who benefits from this system all while bashing upon it.
