Forums - Gaming Discussion - Destiny: The Collection (PS4/XBO) announced

And the people who bought all the DLCs one by one paid a small fortune.I know they got to play first, but still...

Might buy this when its on sale and when I have nothing else to play.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That's like saying I could have bought battlefield 4 for $5 the other day.  Fuck that I'd rather have played it non stop since 2013.

OT: good to hear this announced.  Perfect for any late comers.  I wonder if destiny 2 comes out fall 2017. Hopefully.

They need to just start releasing expansion discs.

This is bullshit that I need to buy the full thing again.

I might buy this when it hits $20. I had the original and I thought it was meh though I didn't purchase any DLC.

So they are not offering the new expansion separately? Edit: They are but way too much. Oh well.

I think last time you could "upgrade" to The Taken King for a $10 bucks less than the full package assuming you had bought the 2 previous expansions. If they are going to do this again they can go fornicate their own footware. Sick of this policy.

Pity, it's a good game.

and i wasted 60 bucks on the base game. never again activision. ill wait for this collectors edition to release when it comes for Destiny 2.

The thing is, this package, while it allows you to play the level is not the same as the experience over the years. A lot of events will not spawn anymore, and you won't have the same experiences as you did between the gap. The package just ensures you are caught up story wise, have access to the old raids (which are less fun, when you are in the new DLC because it is no longer as much of a challenge).

So some events from the vanilla game are now gone? And is it true that end-game content is cut off from the original game now that Taken King is in the mix?
