Watchmen is pretty good, but the sex scene is waaaaaaaaay too long, I fail to see the point of having such a thing in a superhero movie

I guess the director had the hots for the female lead or something...

=)

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Can't decide between The Flashpoint Paradox, The Dark Knight Returns (aside from making Superman dumb, but I guess that's how Frank Miller operates), or Unbreakable. Those three are Superhero gems.

Never heard of Flashpoint Paradox, I will check it out tonight. The animated Dark Knight is indeed amazing, I think they should adapt that one to live action, I mean, scene by scene, but it would probably bomb in the box-office =(

The Flashpoint Paradox is the animated movie adaptation of the DC Comics story arc of the same name, and like all animated DC comics movie, it's freaking awesome. It's just an intense movie and, for one, a superhero movie that doesn't focus on either Batman or Superman.

I watched Super just the other day. It was good.

Mine would be Spider-Man 2, which I'm glad a lot of people agree with me on. Basically the essence of what makes a good comic book hero movie.

bet: lost

Oh yes, James Gunn also directed Guardians of the Galaxy, which is also amazing.

I can see absolutelly no flaws in Spiderman 2 from Sam Raimi as well, they were in the top of their game in that one.

Flashpoint Paradox and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm if we are talking animated.
Dark Knight, Watchmen and V for Vendetta for Live Action.
Honorary mention to Winter Soldier and Unbreakable... And The Incredibles.

And I guess that's it, there are many other good ones around, but if we are talking best, those would be my picks.

Yes, Zack Snider is a virtuoso, almost a painter or something, it is really unique. Some people call him arrogant or self-indugent, but who else can achieve that kind of visuals?

Well she definitely couldn't have got the lead for her acting ability
