Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Despite Pokemon Go being in decline, my library has 17 people sitting outside in the dark playing currently

Yeah, still see quite a few people walking around the lake near my house catching pokemon. The 3 gyms near by are also changing teams quite frequently.

It's declining? Well that may be because everyone was playing it for a bit. A lot of people still play it I just don't see grown women play as much XD

I don't recall reading articles about decline. While it's bound to happen, Go has a few years of life at least ahead of it.

Too busy playing No man's grind atm to look for Pokemon go people.

Yeah I've said this a few times, but realistically the casual gamers who downloaded POGO in their droves are not the sort of gamer how is going to basically Beta Test a game like this, the concept of having to restart a game 10+ times during a trip out to play it would just instantly turn off casual players who don't know about restarting apps or turning something off then on again.

Was such a wasted oppertunity to launch the game in the state that it was in, I doubt there will be another chance to rope in so many non Pokemon players into a game like this for some time again.

Some kids rolling by on skateboards asked me if I was playing a couple days ago. I politely said no. It was windy and I was looking at my reflection to see if my hair was messy. True Pokemon Go story.

Well they probably wanted to be the very best like none ever was.

Yeah it's not uncommon to have people asking other groups of people if they happen to be playing it since the tracker is still non functional me and my mates have resorted to talking to strangers to ask them if X has showed up for them in their travels and such.

One time it was class because we seen a group of students coming towards us and wanted to ask them had they encountered a Staryu, turned out they were Spanish students with zero english but perfectly knew what I meant when they heard me say Staryu, pointed us directions to go get him, we repayed them with a point and said "Slowpoke" they seemed rather happy to have gotten a tip. Was an experience only made possible by something like PoGo so I can thank the game for that.

That's pretty cool I must say.
