I've got it.
In marketing, there are different alghorytms for selling HANDHELD game and HOME CONSLOE game.
I mean like you dont wanna play tactic tuned base strategic games on home console, but Fire Emblem Awakaning was awesome
Home consoles are more for FPS,Action adventures, 3d platformers, all other games
handhelds are for turned base RPG/strategies, 2d platformers, grinding games like Monster Hunter/SMT
So and marketing should be different

i actually agree with this, they could just keep updating it, no different than what most companies do with there tablet devices.

Btw. why should this job listening be NX specific? i guess as long as Nintendo is selling home consoles (Wii U) and portables (3DS, including games for portable devices such as smart phones) there is going to be (lead) marketers for both.

You can ask for two leads from two subsections of the industry and only hire one. The better between the two.

There is also the fact that Nintendo NX could be hybrid but they still release some games on android and ios for the mass market that is phone.

Especially with nintendo severly limited the number of wiiu's they will ship.

The limited ship of Wii U because they are not selling and most likely will not have price cut.

I would also surprised if not do that, Nes Mini has price of AAA game, its will be great holiday gift.

Eh... It's theoretically possible, but considering the timing it would be odd.  We know the Wii U is on its way out, and won't see much meaningful marketing after the holiday, and maybe not even then.  So, it would be really odd to hire a lead for home consoles at this time, unless that means the NX.  And, it's possible that they are considering the NX as a console and the 3DS as their handheld, but that doesn't really jive with the idea of a hybrid console.

It's just really weird timing if the NX is what its rumored to be.

I've been saying it for a while and I still stand by my theory. That the NX is two different systems under one unified platform. In this cases I think the handheld will indeed be a Tegra chip and the console itself will still be an x86 platform. Likely AMD to be consistent and easier as ever for developers to port games to. I doubt they will be released on the same day though. That would be overwhelming for people.

This is my theory too, since the begning... I hope we're right, because I'd rather get this instead of that weird hybrid stuff.
