Who will win Super Bowl LI?

New England Patriots 51 47.66%

Kansas City Chiefs 3 2.80%

Pittsburgh Steelers 6 5.61%

Other (AFC) 3 2.80%

Dallas Cowboys 10 9.35%

So ATL didn't even get the ball in overtime? I have been saying that is a shit rule since they implemented it, and now it fucked up a super bowl. Terrible end to a pretty bad season. Ugh.

I agree that it's a shit rule. It is nice to have it go in the Patriots' way for once, though.

Atlanta's defense wasn't able to stop the Patriots, Atlanta's offense couldn't move the ball. Anything other than a Patriots win in overtime would have been a miracle. If Atlanta had won the coin toss, the Patriots defense would have done its job, followed by the Patriots offense doing its job.

Exactly Atlanta's defense played extremely poor in the second half especially since they couldn't stop the two, two point conversions New England made to take the game into overtime.

Doesn't change the fact that the NFL can't come up with quality rules for their own game.

I don't blame all that on the defense. It was known that they aren't a top 10 unit in the league, so the offense is supposed to make their job easier by giving them time to rest and keeping them fresh. But since the Atlanta offense was quickly sent off the field so often, the defense simply ran out of gas down the stretch. The Patriots offense ran almost twice as many plays as the Falcons in regulation, after overtime the Patriots had run twice as many plays (93 vs. 46).

Atlanta should have kept on running the ball when they where in field goal range in the 4th quater they would have won the game by a couple of points with a made field goal.

It should also be the offical soft drink of the Braves and Hawks.  The current Atlanta professional sport teams won more championships outside of Atlanta then in Atanta since the Braves won a title in Bostons and Milwaukee and the Hawks won a title in St. Louis.

So we've got our Super Bowl LII logo, and it's, well...

...meh, at best.

I really hate these standarized logos. At least they didn't fuck up the Patriots' end zone this time around.

Man I still can't believe the Falcons managed to give that game away lol
I'm not convinced that anything short of deliberately trying to lose would have been sufficient to get the job done

Matt Ryan should be really ashamed of himself. His numbers really mean shit. The way he was holding onto the ball with defenders barrelling down his throat was just sad....and in the 4th he didn't even really go through his progressions anymore. Just staring at one player for like 3 seconds until somebody lit him up. What a waste.

I agree, OT should allow each team a possession regardless of scoring a TD or a FG. I mean, almost everyone in the world knew New England was going to score a TD and win when they won the coin toss.

Haven't seen a team in red and black give up a lead that badly since Milan in Istanbul.
