Hours ago a truck plows intentionally into a group of people in Nice, France and kills 30, injured 100. Just last week a sniper shot at cops in Dallas. The largest mass shootin recorded happened in Orlando a month ago. In Turkey, a terrorist bomb goes off in an airport.  A threat at a Wal-mart caused a bomb scare. 

Something is just not right. All of this happens within a very short period for the last month or so. What the actual f__k Earth?

EDIT: Yes, I understand that terrorism and violence has always been an issue, yea I get it. But it seems more prominant than ever right now, and that's the point I am trying to get across. It has always been relevant, but right now it's snowballing into worldwide panic...

I believe that the biggest difference between the world in the 90's and 80's and today is the access to instant and global information, internet ensures that we get all the news all the time and social media helps spread it in record pace, and as always; we focus on the bad stuff. I'm not sure that a lot more is happening on average, as such.

But, that aside, there has been a lot of things happening in the West in the past few years, surely largely a consequence of our foreign policies and meddling in foreign domestic and continental affairs.

PS: It think the confirmed kill count in Nice is over 60 now, sadly.

There has always been disasters and atacks from fanatics that have problems in their heads.the only difference now is that those atacks are actually being shown to the general public(mostly because now they are happening in important countries).Humanity always had these problems.

It's been a thing for the last 30-40 years, worldwide. Integrism on the rise everywhere, radicals spreading all over the planet, etc...
Now we hear more about it because it's happening more and more in the West, but really, it's been a while since this kind of thing has started happening frequently.

The middle east is an absolute dump, Europe will enter a slump, America will gain a shit president, extremism will rise, temperatures will also rise, pollution will increase, populations will reach unthinkable levels, food shortages will grow, there will be fights over water, robots can potentially replace the working economy and make the lower class boom...

There's over 7 billion people on Earth; something bad is bound to happen.

Living in a smaller world these days, people seem to have gotten more polarized than ever. It's really the same old shit, we just hear about it a lot faster as it happens. Hysteria replaces reason, and a "get them before they get us" toxicity tends to poison the public conscience.

Seems like extremism is going to become even more popular in the days ahead though, due the attention it gets in today's connected world.
