I have been playing all weekend with a friend at his home and I'm pretty surprised with it, I'm not a huge Lego fan and is pretty obvious that the formula of those games is getting very stale, but at the same time it still works and TFA could be easily one of the best on the series.

The movie is very well translated to the game, there is a ton of variety, a ton of humour, a lot of charm, the flying battles are very cool, the Lego mechanics are more refined than ever, it looks really nice and it just feels like a pretty polished product all around, I wouldn't say is a great game but there is no space for boredom in it and that's something very underrated nowadays, if you like the film and you dont hate this kind of games I think you should give it a try, specially if you have someone to play with in co-op.

Has someone else tried the game? Am I alone in this opinion? Am I a filthy casual for liking it? Do you think Saw must be the next to have its own Lego games?

I heard the key issue is how short it is.

I actually bought Lego Batman 3 for my PS4 a couple of months ago, haven't actually played it yet. I haven't played a Lego Game in a while after playing Lego Star Wars 1, 2, Indiana Jones then the first Lego Batman I got burned out, too samey.

I'll give Lego Batman 3 a go soon* though.

As for what franchise I'd like to see have a Lego Game.... it'd have to be Game of Thrones xD

I'm excited to play it but I can't justify buying at full price.
I'll wait for a price drop or two and pick it up!

All Lego games seem to be pretty high quality, I believe. Never heard anything bad about them but instead many people praising them. I really like the silly humour a lot, btw.

I really like the graphics, simple but high quality!

Great idea, I said Saw as a joke but GoT would be just perfect, it needs to happen.

Unfortunately due to the excessively adult nature of the show we're very unlikely to get it. Which is a shame as there is an absolute wealth of characters that could be in the game, so many well known. It'd be the perfect franchise to be a lego game if it wasn't for the nudity and violence associated with it xD.

The contrast of the game with it's family friendly lego humor and the super serious show would be hillarious though. Can you imagine the Red Wedding scene in Lego, or Ned Stark's execution with the typical lego gags thrown in! Amazing!

I believe it. Some of the Lego games are quite good, especially those that focus on a big open world to explore. Is that the case with TFA?

Oh... I didn't thought about it that way but you are totally right, maybe they could tone down a lot the violent scenes as they already do and get rid of the sexual ones. Or just make a "mature" Lego game for the first time, that could be a hit among GoT fans.

I don't see it happening but it would be a ton of fun if they made it as good and charming as this one but with all the traumatic scenes that we usually suffer in GoT xD
