Seems lile a lot of movie goers can't connect the dots unless it's spoon fed to them.

i mean it cant be that the movie is badly directed right? its just the the majority of people are to blame here.

What's the majority? Sites like imdb have mostly favourable reviews of this movie. Seems most people can "connect the dots". Most questions of the thread opener are easily explainable if you think for one second. Must every movie be target the the low end demographic that needs explanations for every little detail?

I don't say that the movie is great or bad but at least the writers and director don't think that their target audience is dumb, at least they don't show it as obviously as many other superhero movies.

Is it just me, or does it feel like most haters of this feel have to be people that have zero comprehension ability. It's all in the movie, or simple thinking to explain all of these.

This is the only worthwhile comment in this thread.

Everybody that dislikes this film is dumb and only a moviegoer, that's all you have to say in this thread.

So much for things like "You really can't post any comments or opinion about anything you don't like without attacking other users, can you?" you like to say.

You know who also disliked it? Critics all over the world, a bunch of moviegoers with zero comprension habilities too, just like half of this thread it seems.

How did the DNA of Zod and Luthor make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

Way to go. You failed to notice the explanations given by irstupid in that comment I quoted.

Hint: Look at the bolded parts.

Really, your reaction  makes me laugh almost as much as the irony of your other comment here.

so i watched it the other day, its a stupid movie, so much makes no fucking sense. here are just some of the questions i had regarding this movie. this is just stuff that didnt make sense to me, or questions i have about the movie that feel like they are major plot holes. im not even getting into the shitty dialogue.

- what the fuck was that dream? and why the fuck was it in the movie? it didnt mean anything

1. Some tease to Injustice or something. I agree should have been 100% cut from movie. Only people I see that love it are super die hard fans that think its the only good part of the movie. I think its the worst.

- why was superman suddenly concerned about batman, when batman has been doing his thing for 20 years now?

2. Batman had only recently started to become cruel, branding and so on. Also Batman has been doing this for 20 years. It's not breaking news for the world. He is no longer water cooler talk. And as Perry White said, "breaking news, crime in gotham.  In other news water is wet" Batman isn't breaking news.

- why did batman suddenly stop wanting to kill superman, and being afraid of his power, because both of their mothers name is martha?

3. The Martha thing is an iceburg situation. People meming the Martha thing are only looking at whats above the surface. Martha, same name, best friends, hahahahha.  There is a handful of things that happen in that scene. Batman sees Superman as a man, has a mother, has people that love him. He see's himself killing someone, and/or letting someone elses mom die. His rage is blocked for a moment and starts to peice together events and sees he has been played. Ect. This all from just the shock of hearing his MOM's name in this strange moment. We all know how unlike Tony Stark, Batman's ENTIRE mythos revolves around his parents death.

- why would kryptonians carry kryptonite on their ship if it weakens them?

4. Kryptonite is a radioactive mineral from Krytpon. Not much of a stretch to find a radioactive material on a space ship, or world engine. Also they were not superbeings on their planet. Hardly notice it I imagine.

- why was lex luthor allowed full access to the ship site and zod's body without any supervision what so ever? he isnt a goverment official, why did he have access without even somebody saying "hey, what ya doin?"

5. Lex is a billianaire and gave some government officials what they wanted. Not a stretch. The government had it for 18 months, what was to let them believe that Lex would destroy the world. They would have taken all they thought htey could, he could. Your naivety reminds me of Jena Malones quote in the movie. "Stuff like this still shocking you is what makes you a good reporter" Though remove that good reporter, cause your questions make you sound like a horrible reporter.

- when superman and luise lane have sex, does she call him daddy?

6. Grow up

- lex wanted to kill superman because he was afraid he could use his power to destroy or hurt humanity. so his answer to that was to create a monster that is even stronger than superman to kill superman... then kill humanity... how does this make sense?

7. Lex gave many reasons for his hatred of superman. Not one of them was for his power to destroy the world. That was Batman's reasons.  Also the movie hints taht Lex expected Doomsday to obay him due to his blood. He sure didn't expect doomsday to instantly try and kill him.

- lex knew batman had the kryptonite that was stolen from him, what would lex have done if batman actually killed superman using it, what was going to happen with doomsday then?

8. Fairly certain Lex wanted Batman to steal the kryptonite. And what do you mean what would he have done? For all we know he could have cancelled the doomsday. I mean his timer eneded before the countdown did. Maybe he could have said cancel to the machine. I mean at the end of the countdown, the ship shocks the embryo with energy, like a frankenstein awakening. I would assume that him saying cancel, woudl have prevented that action adn Doomsday not coming to be.

- lex has been spying on wonder woman for a long time, digging up kryptonite and doing all sorts of shit, why didnt he have one fucking security guard to guard his data? which could have been stolen within just 7 minutes

9. Pretty sure he wanted Batman to steal his data. I'm sure Mercy Graves told him that Bruce was there, and Lex knows who Bruce is. Did you notice in the Batman training montage and when he was making the spear, that he was using Lex's database to help him make his weapons. Also Lex mentioning to him at the party that they shoudl team up and Bruce shoudl see what his R&D team has been up to.

- how did lex know how to create doomsday? how was it even possible? why would the kryptonian ship know how to do it, how does it even have the equipment to do it? how did lex even know what the fuck it was doing? what was doomsday made of, zods dead body and that water thing in the ship? this whole thing just doesnt make sense to me.

10. The ship said it has 100,000 worlds of knowledge. It's a kryptonian ship. Why would it not know how to make a kryptonian weapon. The ship woudl obviously have the tools to make it. It was a ship that had embryo's to make kryptonians in it. Recal from Man of Steel the ship. It wasn't a normal ship, it was one that could create life.

- if wonder womans sword could cut off doomsdays hand, why didnt they just use it to kill doomsday instead of the kryptonite? since it obviously can hurt it.

11. Rewatch teh fight. Everytime the military hit it with gun fire, the spot it was hit with glowed red as it absorbed that energy and contined to become stronger. Then when Wonder Woman and Superman were both fighting it, each sword cut, shield bash, superman punch also made a red glow where it connected. Doomsday was also absorbing and taking that info in to become stronger. Hell when she cut off his hand it grew back to be stronger. That is Doomsday. Cutting off his head would not have worked. He would have just regrown a body and been stronger

- why would batman drag doomsday back to the city near the spear, when he could have just quickly flied there and back to where doomsday was with the spear? it would have been a lot easier for him to just go get it and come back to doomsday.

12. He coudl have left and gone and grabbed the spear, but while he was flying away and grabbing the spear, Doomsday woudl not have sat still waiting. So while Batman is off finding a spear doomsday is killing thousands in teh city. Batman finds the spear and then rushes to doomsday. Might not be as easy/possible to lure him away from the city again. If anything complain about Batman not trying to find spear as Superman/Wonder Woman fight.

- after being in space, and a fucking nuke hitting and exploding doomsday and superman from beneath, how did doomsday return back to earth? when there was no gravity to pull him, the nuke's explosion logically pushing him further into space (not sure if that makes sense even, can a nuke explode in space?), and his entire momentum pushing him further away from earth?  shouldnt he have drifted away in space?

13. No point even bother with this. A F*ing nuke blew up in their faces, they are super beings, who knows how this would react. Heck the explosion could have ended and he being still alive could have kicked off of superman towards earth. Who cares.

- how did wonder woman come to lex's party in the first place? wasnt she laying low? then how did she get invited to the party?

14. Who knows how she was invited. Why don't you ask how anyone else was invited. She is a freaking 5,000 year old lady. Probably snuck in. WHo's going to turn away a sexy lady.

- why did people think superman killed those people in the desert when they were shot, why would superman even use a gun? the guy can shoot lasers out of his fucking eyes.

15. The bodies were burnt. Watch the Ultimate cut

- i still dont know if people knew that superman was clark kent. it doesnt make sense if they couldnt tell. not one bit.
16. Oldest pointless complaint in the book.

Is it just me, or does it feel like most haters of this feel have to be people that have zero comprehension ability. It's all in the movie, or simple thinking to explain all of these.

3- but batmans fear towards superman was unrelated to his parents death. it was fear towards an alien, that could kill everybody on the earth, and he took it upon himself to try defeat him. surprise surprise, superman has a mom. oh wow, thats a shocker! that does nothing to effect the fear batman orignally had. superman could still kill everbody on earth. why become an ally with him over that? the shift in his reason is illogical.

5- you surely are making A LOT of assumptions to try justify illogical events. he bribed his way into it? where was it ever shown that he bribed goverment officials to not even supervise him? that ship tried to destroy the earth, zod tried to destroy humanity, and lex made his intentions clear of wanting to create a weapon. yes, his excuse was to use it to kill superman. but it would be beyond stupid to give one man access to all that, without even a bit of supervision. how on hell would the goverment let something like that happen. they wouldnt. its a matter in not just national security, but worldwide security and a matter of humanities existance. lex specifically said he wants the ship to try to weaponize it. so yeah, it makes sense they wouldnt even know what he is doing. your bad reporter makes no sense, because your argument makes no sense.

6 - you are watching movies based on super hero's and comic books. not really a "grown up" thing to do.

7- based on what did he expect that doomsday would obey him? where was that shown, where was that said that he would? it was only clear that he was certain it would want to kill superman.

8- you based that certainty on what? ohh... another assumption. yes, how convientent. what ticked you off? the bunch of security guarding the kryptonite, the men with machine gun, rocket launchers and other many deadly weapons? yes, he surely wanted to give it him. very clear.

and before you say your rebuttle of "he was just protecting it from others" when they saw it was batman, why just not hand it over if lex wants to give it to him. much easier right? but no, they fight their way to try and keep it.

and just say cancel.. thats it, that simple? yeah.. i am not buying that.

9- ANOTHER assumption based on nothing. how did he know batman wanted his data in the first place? if he somehow knew he did, how did he know bruce wayne was batman when other people dont? if he somehow wanted him to have his data... why just not give it to him?

10- doomsday is kryptonian weapon? where are you getting this from? there wasnt anything on kyrptoniat like doomsday. and why would kyrptonians make a weapon that can single handedly kill them all? again, creating doomsday as a weapon doesnt make sense, for neither lex luthor or the kryptonians.

11- how does that even make fucking sense? its just stupid. neither superman or humans absord energy when they are hit. so mixing them together shouldnt result in that anyways. and again, it just doesnt make sense. its beyond stupid. it just seems like an idea a 8 year old would come up with.

12- what? doomsday was in a none populated idea, batman was in a ship. he could have flewn, got the spear without the threat of doomsday, and then returned to him where ever he was going. instead he dragged him to a city full of people to fight him there while he still doesnt have the spear

13- no point in asking it? why? because its doesnt make sense? thats the point, it doesnt make sense and during the movie i was wondering how it even happened. its a stupid plot hole. and no, he didnt use supermans body to push back to earth, because that would have resulted in supermans body being pushed away further from the earth and drifting away pretty quickly, which wasnt the case

14- who knows how she was invited? thats your answer to a plot hole? it just shows how its a plot hole if you cant even give an answer when you are defending it

15- im not wasting my time with the ultimate cut, i watched the regular movie, it wasnt in there. my point still stands

16- just because its an old complaint doesnt mean it isnt valid. in fact you offered no rebuttle what so ever. people not being able to tell that superman is clark kent is nonsensical. specially in the day and age of the internet, cellphones and social media. where the most famous being on the planet would have his pictures everywhere.

Don't know why I'm bothering responding in this thread but I've seen this "plot hole," "issue," "nonsensical part," brought up a lot: how/why/when/where/who did Lex know and why did he let Batman steal the kryptonite.

If you watched the freaking movie it's answered for you... And this is where I have to agree that too many people went in with Marvel on their minds and wanted everything written nicely for their eyes and ears to absorb without issue. Sorry, but I had to go there :p

Lex clearly smirks when he saw Batmans batarang left where the kryptonite was, as if he expected it, gee, after Batman tried to steal it and destroyed half of Lex's hired fleet in the chase scene where he meets Supes for the first time. THEN Lex mentions how he left the job to kill Superman in the hands of Batman of Gotham but he failed "so now the devil will do it" and that's when he released Doomsday who was made from Zod's body, Lex's blood and the Kryptonians technology that is mind you, thousands of years more advanced than Earths. Doomsday was Lex's contingency plan if Batman failed to kill Superman.

Anyway, OP, re-readin your complaints and then reading your follow up above, its very clear you didn't even try to like this movie. You are criticizing literally everything you can think of and its obvious. Which, whatever thats your thing. But why go through the effort just to try to make a movie already critically panned even worse?

IGN's too much water is a better complaint than any one of yours above.

I answered your logically and well before and you come back with even more rediculous questions and assumptions and missing OBVIOUS things even the biggest hypocryte would notive.  I'm done.

The problem is, if all what you are going after is "Why this thing happened this way", "Why they did that instead of this", people won't bother. Not to mention, that some of your points are basically asking us to spoon feed you the information. So why are you bothered when people tell you that you want your movies to lay it all out for you?

GoT latest two episodes getting 10 out 10 everywhere. I could nitpick them to death, but I am not gonna do that because movies and stories require some level of suspension of disbelief, most of them do. Tell me what your favourite movies are and I'll nitpick it to death. Kill Bill is a critical hit, the fact is, the movie's core is so dumb, yet a lot of people managed to enjoy it for more than the sequence of events that take place in it.

That's the problem with your thread, you are not going after real issues, most of the time. You are nitpicking and asking the directors to be... direct.

My biggest question would be: Why 3 freakin' hours and add so much plot lines to the story? In all honesty, I did enjoy it, but they should have made it 2 or 3 movies and explain some things a bit better.
