I've got X on PS1...great game. Anyone know how good the emulation on the PS2 collection is? I honestly didn't know this anthology even existed.

I had the collection for the Wii, I liked it. I never saw many of them in the arcades, so it was fun to check them out. They do seem pretty repetitive, but good fun to pop in arcade-style now and again.

If you have X, you may as well skip 2. X is a 'fixed' version of #2, which released in arcades with some atrocious slowdown. The only major difference is it gives away what the final enemy type in the game is pretty early on instead of revealing them in the last level.

I was just talking to a friend about this. The series really did hit its peak at 3. It kinda just falls down from there.
