Yea agree. He is an interesting character and we only saw his childhood briefly with Umibouzu but nothing much story development. 

If you're already read till First Disciple chapter then you already saw how badass Takasugi is. Getting stabbed to the cheek but still able to woke up and came back swinging........freaking badass!!

Yes but now we know that he helped shoyo escape and then later his jealousy lead to him being captured again and executed. Takasugi is badass but gintoki and zura are on another level as zura is the most strong minded of them all and gintoki is strong willed. But takasugi is strong spirited I guess. But I think that zura can actually beat gintoki if he gave it his all and I think zura>gintoki>takasugi. And we ignore the fact but shinpachi is pretty powerful as well

I've only watched the first 26 or so episodes of SAO.... and quite a lot of pokemon and yugioh when I was younger.... I'm a dirty casual. T_T

I plan on trying to get into anime when I've got some more time.

Hey Guys, have you ever watched Kotonoha no Niwa ? This is one of my favourites. The story is touching and beautiful. And its crafted like a masterpiece. Go and watch it!

I used to watch Gintama but stopped when they kept focusing on serious stuff rather than humor. I think I stopped around episode 170 or so.

 

As for other anime, recently finished watching Umaru-Chan and Ika Musume: loved them both and am hoping for an Umaru-Chan season 2 so I can watch it alongside Ika Musume season 2.

Currently watching Shinmai Maou no Testament.
