Forums - Website Topics - A sneak peek at the new design

It looks quite nice on mobile and feels 'smoother' on the scroll.

From a constructive standpoint, it would be nice if we were allowed to change the order that things are displayed based on personal preference. I'd like to see the charts first as you have, but have forum hot topics placed above articles as the community is arguably the biggest draw to the site for the forum posters.

Looks very clean and logical though.

Looks pretty good, which is actually really good these days. I've seen way too many site redesigns be made with a mobile-first mentality where regular computers are practically forgotten, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Looks like it's going to be pretty good on both, which is excellent news!

liking what I see

Do I have to enter that link manually every time?

Edit: (on mobile) the "Latest Chart Updates" look out of place. I'd prefer if they were either below the Weekly Hardware Charts or right at the top of everything.

Looks real good, nice job and thanks to Truck, Machina and Spemanig! (you all were involved, right?)

I thought about redirecting supporters automatically to that page but I wasn't sure people would like changing from one design to the other. It could be done if that's what most supporters want.

Yeah, I can understand why. And as far as I could see, you've only changed the front page, right? I, for myself, wouldn't enjoy that much.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

A good mobile version with non intrusive ads is what I'm hoping for.

Love the effort placed in the website. 👍

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Yep. I've been pretty vocal about the ads. They are intrusive and poorly implemented.

While I am limited to what i can judge since Im no supporter(and so I can only judge based on the screenshots), it seems really good!It feels like an improvement over everything the current site has.I really look forward the day everything has been iron out!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Great job on the mobile version.

Not really a fan of sales being on the left side though. VGChartz is mainly a sales site so Sales should be in the front and center imo. Awesome job none the less!

Actually people in general when they first glance at the creen, the first part they usually see is the upper left corner. So this redesign actually puts the sales up and front!
