I do feel this is a pointless debate tho, as always with the PC master race, they tend to look more at resolution, framerate, multiple displays, tech.....etc . Than actually look at a games overall presentation and design. Its like saying a toilet is better than every other toilet sinply because its made from gold.

Or my favorite, it will look better on PC (which is true of going simply by the hardware). Someone here even says one day it will be on PC......... ok

Seems that consoles devs are finally getting to grips with the PS4 hardware and we are seeing games now that show what these consoles can do. For the PS4 to be able to make Uncharted look like it does and Doom 4 run at a pretty locked down 1080/60 is amazing really.

There was an argument at the start of this generation that the PS4 was like for like with a similar priced PC in terms of performance and visuals etc. Now devs are getting to grips with the hardware I believe the PS4 has progressed past that stage, especially when you look at recent titles like Uncharted, Doom 4, Ratchet And Clank. There is a big difference there in terms of fidelity compared to games coming out in the first couple of years (with the exception of games like The Order or Driveclub).

Yeah uncharted 4 set a new benchmark in gaming. Amazing it can be done on such a cheap machine

With such attention to detail, the game will probably be a mess on PC.

Too many graphic cards, too many system settings. PlayStation exclusives look so good because of optimization.

Prettiest console game I've ever seen for sure, but overall best visuals still goes to TW3 for me.

OT: As someone who prefers PC Uncharted 4 was downright marvelous. I'm amazed they were able to pull that off with such disappointing hardware.

I would say that I've seen better, but the accomplishment of such level of polish in the end makes me say yes, they have absolutely smashed PC games.

Now FFXV kinda looks trashy and unoptimized as hell. Though maybe the PC release could fix that. Still the lighting for Uncharted beats the hell out of FFXV now. Also the models for FFXV has that distict Japanese approach which I'm not too fond off.

Technically superior? Nothing about the game makes me impressed. A space sim that takes place in space just doesn't have the wow factor of a colorful game like Uncharted 4.

Uncharted 4 is the most impressive game ever, the level of detail and polish can only come from top tier developers like Naughty Dog. Seriously go watch the technical analysis videos by NX Gamer and Digital Foundry, all the little details and extra care in just about every nook and cranny has been never before seen in a game.
