$40 for the PC version which is more than worth it if you have a decent PC. It can run on a toaster... Seriously! Sucks for console owners tho and Europeans

Luckly, I live in Canada where our moose steals food from stores and our streets get rekt everytime we lose a hockey match. (And our currency is arse) But $40 so yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It looks like it's going to rate really high... I suppose $60 might seem high, but there could be people who plan to spend hundreds of hours in there. I imagine if sales are lower than expected they'll offer a discount. Otherwise, they've priced it right.

What am I paying 75 euro for? The characters? The cosmetic "loot boxes"? Fuck me, it even has micro transactions for these "loot boxes", up to 40 damn euro.

Where do you live? I paid 53 euro for the PS4 version on Amazon France. As of now it's a bit overpriced yeah but with future added content it will be worth it.

Only 40 dollars in the US. Regardless, though, it's worth the price.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Overhyped, but Blizzard will get a pretty paycheck nonetheless. When it was announced most thought it would be a f2p game, but then Blizzard saw the hype and decided to cash in. Smart business move.

LOLOLOLOL! The users on this site have no concept of reality sometimes. This game was in no way overhyped. It lived up to it and had a near flawless launch. You will be hearing about this game for a long time.

Where are you seeing this price? Where do you live? And why the fuck are you buying loot boxes?

The millions and millions of people who bought Star Wars Battlefront kind of doomed everyone to pay full price for multiplayer shooters with little content. Obviously most people are willing to pay for that kind of thing, so that's now the price.

Game got so much hype that there was no way any game could reasonably live up to it. That is not neccesarily a bad thing though.

This game will keep on selling for years, and get updates for years. And people will stay play it for years.

The game didn't really start receiving mega levels of hype until the open beta caught on fire. I was super disinterested in this game and wasn't even considering it until people started comparing it favorably to team fortress 2, which is a phenomenal team based game. So I don't see where the overhype argument comes from - it's being hyped appropriately based on a killer beta which is far more indicative than any reviewers opinion really.
