Forums - Gaming Discussion - Petition: Remove Uncharted 4 Washington Post Review from Metacritic

Stupid petition. Someone doesn't like the game, then they should score it low. They might have reasons that I find petty and I might even argue with them personally 1 on 1 if I ever met them and got talking about favourite games. But if they hold that view sincerely then let it be.

Like i say metacritic 69 the games and reviewers 69 the gamers
The biggest questions is why the same site can write the same review twice for the same game and metacritic add boths on metascore?

Why a pollitical site is legit to write a review about games and be on metacritic and others sites that spend his life on games and has thousand viewers to not be on metacritic?

Gongratulations for those who give fame (clicks) to those sites, and don't have opinion to say i don't care if the game has 93 94 63 64 i like i enjoy it i pay for it to play it and noone can change my opinion because i have mine

Edit:
Al ready is the most read, second most read on washington post is some guy Julius do something and third most read is Donald Trump
Awesome people who read political news is also care about uncharted how good is. thats the biggest reward for Naughty dog hahahah
Yep i can't hold my self i give them a click

How insecure does someone have to be to start/sign a petition to have a video game review removed from a website like Metacritic?

When The Order 1886 scored a 63 everyone was yelling about how irrelevant/meaningless Metacritic was but now the difference between a 93 and a 94 warrants multiple threads and a petition?

I've seen a lot of embarrassing things here at VGC but this hands down takes the cake.

Do you know for a fact that it's the same group of people?

What a sad individual to make such a pointless petition. Metacritic has always sucked, there will always be bad reviews or reviews that you disagree if. If you don't like it then DON'T READ METACRITIC. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if we think it is childish and idiotic, we don't live in a dictatorship (at least I don't) where we need to be told what to think or write.

Why does it matter if someone wrote a satirical review with what was perceived as a low score? Why is it important for that score to be removed?

Why was it included in the first place? This sets a precedent for future troll reviews that raise or lower the metacritic score (which affects the salaries of developers)

No, it does not and I wouldn´t be to worried about the salaries for developers, they are not dependent on if a game gets a 93 or 94. I suspect this petition has nothing at all to do with that specific review, but rather a pretty desperate attempt to influence review sites simply because their favorite game didn´t get as much praise as it did.

Let´s put it this way: I am more worried about the precedent it sets if petitions affect what reviews a site like Metacritic take into consideration just because some people feel entitled so only their view of the world, rather than the precedent of sites like MC including some obscure review score in their overall summary.

we need a petition to ban review scores and shut down metacritc cause fanboys and haters put way too much value into no matter how high or low.

Where is the petition to remove the perfect 10s?

This.

How many of the perfect 10s reviews were poorly written, had no score attached to them with a twitter news from metacritic "they provided them to us" (that's a bit fishy, but ok), was provided by a second review by the same site and were the writer of the review is bashing the game on twitter?
