nice joke dude, would be laughing when nothing changes and the ps4 will still be selling amazing like always, the ps vr already proved to be an amazing success on pre-orders, running out of stock in its first half hour.

your comment reminds me of all those people that said that the xone was going to be the winner this gen due to x360 success, guess what happened...

Because apparently when someone is going to buy a console they'll look at the X1 (weakest) PS4(stronger) PS4K (even stronger) and go you know what I want the weakest console of the three just because Sony released a better one. That's the kind of savy shopping people are doing these days throwing down their money on the weakest hardware of the options avaliable.

Sony has got this gen in the bag. Microsoft is just trying to salvage it. No one dominates third party support like Sony so that tends to solidify what happens. Sony screwed up with the PS3 before the generation even started. They are already at 40 million consoles sold since launch. Microsoft is outselling the xbox 360 but is trailing the PS4. Once again, Microsoft cannot beat Sony in a legitimate contest where they start off properly. The Playstation is considered a world brand whereas the XBox is considered a western/ American console.

Its pretty much smooth sailing for Sony until the end of the generation. Most of the JRPG fans will be having the PS4 without having to worry about cool exclusives jumping ship to the 360 because Microsoft was winning (even then Sony still had more JRPG's).

Post October, yes. It's up to them whether they want to patch older games.

Wait, I'm under the impression it would work the way it does on ps4? The architect would be the same, so isn't it the same thing as just putting in the disc? O_o I'm not to knowledgeable on these things, but I imagine it'd be that simple for ps4.5

Though I think Sony said that all 4.5 games must run at 1080p or higher, I think believe there were any other requirements for 4.5 games other than having a framerate at least as good as the normal PS4 version.
