Sony has got this gen in the bag. Microsoft is just trying to salvage it. No one dominates third party support like Sony so that tends to solidify what happens. Sony screwed up with the PS3 before the generation even started. They are already at 40 million consoles sold since launch. Microsoft is outselling the xbox 360 but is trailing the PS4. Once again, Microsoft cannot beat Sony in a legitimate contest where they start off properly. The Playstation is considered a world brand whereas the XBox is considered a western/ American console.
Its pretty much smooth sailing for Sony until the end of the generation. Most of the JRPG fans will be having the PS4 without having to worry about cool exclusives jumping ship to the 360 because Microsoft was winning (even then Sony still had more JRPG's).
