Quantum Break has received a lot of praise from critics, fans and rival execs and it’s no surprise that the hotly anticipated title has been enjoying a successful launch. Asides from the praise the game has been receiving, it seems like the game has also done well for itself in the sales department since Quantum Break dominated the week in the UK being the top selling game across all platforms according to data collected by GfK chart-track.

Being number one in an empty week like that is not réally an achievement big enough to talk about à successful launch.

I think thé game flopped and will struggle to even reach one million in à month.

It's always good to see a narrative driven, linear game doing well.

Hmmm what other games released during the same week and wasn't quantum break heavily bundled by retailers in the UK. MS is just playing with words and including bundled as 'sales'. And the game has 77 metacritic can't see how they can honestly continue the "critically acclaimed" claim.

You say that as if reaching one million in a month wouldn't be a good result.

Stop with the bundled nonsense. If a bundle sells based on the fact it comes with the game then it's the GAME that sold the bundle, not the other way around.

I have not played the game yet but watching my son play, it looks fun. The lighting, textures and overall graphics are top notch and the story is interesting. Did not want to spoil the game for my play so I left the room once I got a good feel of the game. The game seems to be doing very good sales wise which is good because I life Remedy as a developer and wish them good success.

Now your being foolish. If a game manages to take top spot in an empty week doesn't mean it sold bad or flopped. The division for an example launched the 1st week of march with no competition and sold over 3 million units.

Yeah, being an empty week it might sell more not less because of it. 

Good for Remedy and despite not having too many glowing reviews I'll get a copy soon enough once to see if I'm interested in their next title ...
