It pisses me off! The ads come in front or my screen all the time. I downloaded an ad block app but sometimes doesn't block everything. I understand the site needs to make money but the ads are only making me use other sites for my news as i cbf with this anymore. It looks tacky as, like makes me feel like im on some budget ass website.

Machina and trucks are working on a revision on the site.While this does not necessarily mean some ads will be removed, things can still improve.So the future is not all blank

The sad part is, in these threads you always have newer people who come and question why the site is close to unusable but older folk say "that's just how vgchartz is" it's a shame that it probably leads to a lot of people who are starting off here or considering making this site it's go to place for news and chat being turned off making VGchartz their home.

I am sure that I mentioned that Adblock is an option that I choose not to use. This is because typically I like knowing that I am supporting a site in some form or another. That being said, if this keeps up, I will have no reservations for putting this site on the Adblock list.

All the solutions that have been suggested to me are methods which that the user must make in order for this site to be tolerable. The whole point of this thread is that the site should be accessible. One should not have to jump through hurdles in order to get a functional experience.

The pop up ads on this site are now aready brutal.

It's still manageable but super annoying. Via mobile there are many sites these days that are unusable because of ads.

It's really annoying on a smartphone... can you reduce the pop ups please?

You can click to accept the publicity or not on every website, juste clic to accept publicity for a few than block this, so you support the site and can navigate after have "seen a few pub"

Its been a serious issue for a long time now. We NEED this to stop.
