Still don't know why people watch this. Including me.

We don't, we only watched this time for the promised sun/moon gameplay, uh doi.

It was never confirmed, but was 'expected' by most

"The game itself wasn't shown, but it seems that the wait may be coming to an end. Series director Junichi Masuda, battle director Shigeki Morimoto and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire game director Shigeru Ohmori are scheduled to appear in the 3rd April broadcast of official show 'Gathering at the Pokémon House' in Japan, and they'll be discussing the new games. Based on past history with appearances like this it's anticipated there'll be some game footage, but it could nevertheless be very brief. It's also entirely possible that a trailer with the footage could be shared online through YouTube etc around that time."

Yep people got trolled by the Pokemon company, I think this confirms 3DS may not be the only platform.

I starting to think the same now. What other reason is there not to show the game at this point?

Told you guys. It was fake as clam bake. Which I'd rather be eating right now over watching this crap. Wait for Nintendo to say something, as always.

Um, they're the ones who said they'd show gameplay...

Yeah it looks pretty certain the's an NX portable version now.

It would be funny if the Pokemon battle was sun and moon gameplay but we wouldn't know because we cant understand the language.

Question to the people saying that the show itself claimed that there would be footage showed all Serebii has about what happened today is the following:"it has been confirmed that in the episode of Gathering at the Pokémon House, the variety show that airs in Japan every Sunday, that airs on April 3rd, series Director Junichi Masuda will be on, alongside battle director Shigeki Morimoto and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire game director Shigeru Ohmori and will talk about the new games, presumably Pokémon Sun & Moon and will feature the first TV aired footage. It is not known if the footage will be released officially on the Internet beforehand but we will post as soon as anything is revealed.",is there a link showing that the people behind the show or GF stating that gameplay was going to be shown?

Yeah okay fine, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't be stupid enough to try and talk about something there's no info on instead of, you know, giving us some actual info.

It wasn't a fake claim by the streamer btw the show themselves made the claim last week.

Yeah, I know. I'm actually subbed to this guy. I don't blame him or anybody here.

GameFreak and the Pokemon Company have been unorthodox when it comes to promoting their mainline games for years. It doesn't help that the announcements they make about appearances from the directors and producers would lead to a mis-translation, figuratively and even literally. One thing doesn't always lead to another thing, especially when it comes to what GameFreak wants to reveal.
