Wright, I know it's an April's fools thread but knowing your sincere view on this topic I'll bite anyway. I'm all for being inclusive. I'm 100% sure that I'll be able to enjoy Zelda U no matter what Link has under his/her/etc pants.
In Zelda U I'm pretty sure Nintendo is going to include the option to play as the female Linkle and I think that's great. I wouldn't mind the option to change the colour of Link's skin either. Personally, I'd probably just go with the Link I've known since I was a child but it's OPTIONAL and I couldn't care less which Link other people choose to play as.
Though, we wouldn't be able to play Zelda U before 2028 if Nintendo had to include every single minority and even then there'd probably still be some left unsatisfied.

Why specifically transgender Link? How would you even be able to see/know if Link was a transgender? Should it be elaborated in a text box? Should NPCs treat you accordingly? Why would the sex even matter in a game without sexualization? In e.g. the Mass Effect or Fallout universe the sex contributes to the characters/stories/options/choices/etc. but in the way Zelda games currently are designed, I don't see why sex/gender matter.
You're a good guy Wright and if it means a lot to you personally, it means a lot to us. But bear with us.. We just want Zelda U to release this century.
