Some DC fans, not all DC fans.

Watchmen was based by some fans too, it doesnt change the fact its a master piece

Plus there are a lot of reviews of bad faith, saying Batman kills too much in the movie is a huge hyperbole, all deaths are indirect in reality ( this point is important, because some critics seem a bit brainless and didnt understand the movie or slept during some parts, dreaming about killing someone doesnt make you a murderer, it's just a dream), he is far from a punisher, in fact, he doesnt kill more than all the other Batman in the others movies.

So this leads me to believe reviewers try to kill the hype for this movie as much as they can, i have no other way to explain such lies and bad faith.

These same critics probably could not understand the concept of Inception haha.

I know it is anecdotal, however, all the people that I know personally that have gone to see the film have enjoyed it. Some of them even prefer Marvel; they still think Marvel is better, but due to liking both, they still think that the movie is good.

At the same time, I am sure that there are DC fans that dislike this. You simply cannot make a film that appeals to everyone. If you make a movie in which Batman loses, you will get annoyed people, if you make a film in which Superman loses, you will get annoyed people etc.

I have come across DC fans that dislike The Dark Knight. It doesn't make it a bad film.

The critics for this movie, however, seem to dislike it mostly based on ignorance, or on the sheer basis that they could not understand it, it wasn't funny etc. I can argue why this is simply wrong, however I have already done so on many occassions already.

Small fix

I APPROVE!

I sometimes don't understand ppl, when a movie gets bad reviews you hear ppl say critics are wrong and clueless, and when another movie gets good review, you hear the same; so are reviewers ever right?
Anyways i am not a big fan of super heroes movies but it's nice that ppl who like them get to watch all the ones getting released every year.

It'll end up somewhere around 1B WW which is on the low end of what I was predicting.

PS4/PS3/PC/3DS Owner (Will buy a Switch when mainline Pokemon game is released)

Think of it being similar to the news. There are people who are dedicated to finding the truth, and what they report is almost flawless. And on the other side of the spectrum you have Fox News.

So when you look at a view and see that the reviewer does not understand what they are talking about, or they just don't like that specific genre in general, you know it is trash. Just like anything you see come out of Fox News is instantly trash.

If I were to review say Billy Madison. It is an Adam Sandler comedy. If I were to say it were a bad film due to the fact it did not have enough action sequences... well that would be absolute trash. In no way is Billy Madison trying to be an action film. So if you apply the same principle to Batman v Superman, in which many of the critics complain about the lack of humour in a dark and grity action film... well, surely you can see the problem?

It is essentially iGN's too much water all over again.

I hope they use that money to make a better film next time.

Reeves is dead so any hope for a good Superman movie is lost... sadly.
