There's a manga I've been meaning to talk about, but just didn't make time for before, but I figured I finally post my thoughts on the latest happenings of Boku no Hero Academia: It seems the overall arc of Chisaki has come to an end, but not without some crazy and tragic moments happening right at the end. It was quite a shocker that Chisaki would be done in by his own quirk-removing... formula? Serum? I'm sure others get the idea, and by Shigaraki too. That seems kind of a brutal way to end up, but Chisaki was overall a horrible character, so I think he had it coming to him. Despite the heroes winning in the end, they weren't without their losses, most tragic the passing of Nighteye, which was not only a shocker, but a heartbreaking moment. I couldn't help be cry a lil when I read that recently, and there's Mirio who lost his quirk during the fight. He's still sporting that bright smile, but man, the latest chapters have been quite a bit tough.

Dorohedoro is one crazy manga.  It's also really unique and interesting.

The main character and his female sidekick spend most of their time hunting down and killing magic users in his quest to find the one who gave him the head of a lizard.  He doesn't remember that happening or his life before but he doesn't let that stop him.  They are residents of the city of Hole, a dark and violent place that magic users often visit in order to use the inhabitants as guinea pigs.

On the other side of the magic door portals, important magic users are trying to find out information about the lizard-headed guy who is killing their agents so they can hunt him down instead.  They want to discover who experimented on him and how they made him immune to magic.

It's gory, bloody, violent, and sometimes disgusting.  The art style sometimes looks like independent comics from the 1980s.  Despite that, however, I find it to be really entertaining and amusing.

That is definitely a wicked art style. It's got a messy pencil look, which looks really cool, as well as quite a bit of detail on the clothes. That lizard guy paired with that girl is a pretty cool duo as well. One of the most interesting things I've seen in a good while, haha.

Also, lately there's been some unfortunate news regarding Rurouni Kenshin and the creator, Nobuhiro Watsuki, as he has been charged with possession of child pornography and as a result, the new arc of Rurouni Kenshin will be on hiatus for the time being. Whether it will continue or not is unknown.

It's really unfortunate to hear about this news, as the manga is my all time favorite and the creator was someone I really admired too. I was really enjoying the new story as well. I'm not really sure how to feel about him after this news.

The part that surprised me is that it's a female mangaka.  I never would have guessed in a million years.  You don't see many women doing stuff like this.

The style is different and at times odd but she is undoubtedly skilled and has improved massively over the course of the series.

Magic can be surprisingly complicated.

The kind of pages that makes life worth living.

Also intense fangirl squeals, but I do that with every family moment from my favorite dorks.

Well, after seeing more grotesque images of that manga that look like something from a horror story, I had to give it a look, and it sure is bizarre. Most of the characters look strange or not even human, to the point where the lizard's partner, the girl, is the odd one there. The main character having a lizard head just makes their daily routines seem all the more comical, especially when their daily routine seems to be dealing with dangerous characters and lizard guy just casually bites their heads, with detailed images of his fangs digging into their heads, making their faces bloody. It's just another day for them.

I think I wanna check more out on this one.

Unfortunately, I can't see the image though. It's broken or something.

Attack On Titan Chapter 100

Holy shit what a fucking chapter. The direction he is taking Eren's character in is incredible. Its very likely this series will have at best a bitter sweet ending if not a an incredibly dark ending. Hell its clear the story no longer has a true hero it seems.
