Street fighter V sold pretty poorly. Check the NPD? The ps4 version of naruto, which didn't even top the top 10 list either, outsold sfv

At least it charted.

Didnt you know that Rise of the Tomb Raider went Uncharted on its debut month NPD?

P.D. Rise of the Tomb Raider is (imo) not showing any legs at all. It is currently sitting at #272 on Amazon, for a game this great (Yes, i finished the game on my Xbox One) it is not good at all.

I remember that twit from the fake CEO Kaz Hirai on twitter.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider is now exclusive to Xbox One. Square Enix clearly wants the game to be uncharted: as in, not entering the charts."

The fact that, he ended up being right... was just brutal.

Does it matter if ROTTR didn't chart Amazon or NPD only? Tomb Raider is selling more in its 10 weeks than Street Fighter V.

Week 5 is up.

Abysmal legs have really sucked the life out of this thread. I probably won't even bother updating until week 10.

No, keep updating this thread when the weeks are up. Besides I'm sorta glad this thread life got suck out because we don't want to huge arguments going back or forth that go nowhere, do we?

Proud to be a Californian.

SFV is $10 on Amazon right now.

I think sf5 would have sold much better if it was released at the end of year like tomb raider. Sf4 vs tomb was better cause they release around the same time of year. Much better comparison

RotTR arguably had a better release window, but people also argued it was sent out to die releasing near so many popular games. It launched the same day as Fallout 4.

Meanwhile SFV had the advantage of being a on a much more popular platform and having a pretty quiet release window. Also, we've seen games do much better than SFV around the same period, such as SFIV.

I think this is an interesting comparsion because predictions were different. The poll on this thread had a huge lead for SFV as well, but that changed.

I mean it pretty much did die in its first week/month by going against Fallout 4, otherwise it would have sold SFV numbers FW then drop off harder like SFV. Holidays will still help any game though... as it will help SFV eventually.
