Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is this going to be a really bad year for Nintendo?

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
Final Fantasy Explorers
Project X Zone 2
Fire Emblem Fates
Twilight Princess HD
Mario & Sonic Rio Olympics
Pokken Tournament
Hyrule Warriors Legends
Bravely Second
Star Fox Zero
Mini Mario & Friends
Pocket Card Jockey
Disney Art Academy
Lost Reavers
Tokyo Mirage Sessions
Kirby Planet Robobot
Rhythm Heaven Megamix
Dragon Quest VII
Dragon Quest VIII
Monster Hunter Generations
Paper Mario: Color Splash
Pokemon Sun/Moon
Legend of Zelda U

That is the list of Nintendo published titles along with some of the bigger 3rd party exclusives this year, looks like a rather solid list to me.

For Wii U yes, very bad, but it died in 2015

I'm pretty sure last year you said it died on 2014.

Is really impressive how a dead console is gonna get the bigger goty contender this year.

No last year i said 2015 was it's last year, even though it was not a very good year.

It's possible if the big goty contender is not Wii U exclusive,  the life of the console as an unique console is over. Only one potentially very good exlcusive ( TMS FE )is not enough for me to say otherwise

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

i always believed that E3 is what determines if a company has a good or bad year and we're still in the post E3 2015 cycle so give until E3.

Not really. The first half of this year is really decent compared to last year, honestly.

Wii U: Twilight Princess HD, Pokken Tournament, Star Fox Zero & Guard, Mario & Sonic Olympics at Rio and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE vs Kirby & The Rainbow Curse, Mario Party 10 and Splatoon. 2016 wins imo.

3DS: Fire Emblem Fates, Bravely Second, Dragon Quest VII, Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, Project X Zone 2, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Mario & Sonic Olympics at Rio, Final Fantasy Explorers and Mega Man Legacy Collection vs Majora's Mask 3D, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, Story of Seasons, Codename STEAM, Xenoblade 3D, Monster Hunter 4U, Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker and Fossil Fighters. Again, I think 2016 wins.

This isn't counting the second half, obviously but we don't know everything that will release then so it's too early to call it. This year seems fine overall so far.

Official Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Thread

I'm pretty happy, actually. Star Fox, Zelda U, TMP #FE, Lost Reavers and Paper Mario (which looks absolutely gorgeous) are probably on my to-buy list, as well as Pikmin 4 if that gets confirmed (which looks more likely now that it's clear Nintendo are actually supporting the console through 2016).

For me personally, this could well be my favourite year for the console.

Very happy about the direct because it all but ensures there is nothing left on the horizon for the Wii U and that they all shifted Focus to the NX.

You forgot Paper Mario

Before it looked like a normal year for Wii U, now add in the fact that Project Gaurd and Paper Mario are on the way as well, I'd actually say it's looking like a really good year for Wii U.

For Wii U and 3DS, its going to be a good year, nothing more, nothing less.Sure, this direct was bad, but that dosent change the fact that we are getting alot of good games

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

What a pointless thread, how is amiibo or motion controls making this year any worse? lol

- Pokken
- TPHD
- Star Fox Zero
- Tokyo #FE
- Paper Mario Colour Splash (not convinced about this one but it is paper mario)
- The Legend Of Zelda U
- Fe Fates
- DQVII
- Braverly Second
- Pokemon Sun/Moon
- NX REVEAL

And games like SMM and Splatoon keept getting great updates.

No I dont see it that boring at all.

Totally agree, and you just mentioned Wii U/3DS staffs, we still know anything about NX staffs.
