This rumour sounds very believable and I like what they are doing. In the end it will all come down to games.

I got rid of my WiiU since the games I love never made it to the system. It was hugely disappointing. I miss the big 3D adventure platformers like Mario 64, Zelda, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooi and Conker. I miss Lylat Wars and Pokemon stadium.

What the hell does WiiU x50 even mean? Power? That would put it way above the PS4...

I am also not sure what they thought with that comparison, X1 is around 4-5x stronger than Wii U, vile PS4 around 6-7x stronger than Wii U.

Weird, HDMI streaming technology used in Wii U is dedicated Miracast, why would NX use it? I don't think Bandwidth is lacking...

They should reveal the console in March and spare us this drama.


Hmm... All of this kinda makes me wonder, what if they went with AMD's newest Polaris GPU and a ZEN CPU? With 14 nm architecture, the thing would be more energy-efficient (something N values), more powerful and much cheaper to manufacture at the same time! AMD delayed the release of ZEN this year, it would be all kinds of awesome, if it was because they are cooperating with Ninty to give us a truely groundbreaking console.

Now these rumours are juicy! I like what I'm reading, those are believable and would make sense. If it is more powerful than the xbox one I'll be more than satisfied, I was expecting something slightly more powerful, but not by much.
So, has he said anything about how he knows all of this? I thought NDA's were really heavy this time around. Is anyone getting fired because of this?

Actually if Nintendo already releasing new hardware in middle of generation, going with something like this would make most sense.

This is offcourse still just a rumor..

But its exatly what I thought about when Iwata.. (in 2013 or 14) said that they would make some specally for the chiness marked..

Offcourse they could sell some in the west to.. But if this turns out to be right.. I could see it only being for china..

Thanks for pointing out that discrepancy. That's one of the things that make this rumor very, very doubtful.

Also, the use of haptic feedbacf for its analog controllers is odd. Feeling the terraign? The recoil of firing a gun? How many Nintendo games would benefit from that?

Nope, I don't believe this rumor. But I'll give him the credit of making a rumor that's more credible than most.
Also, if this is fake, then shame on him for using Iwata.
