Have there been any solid rumors on what is getting announced on Febuary 25th for xbox and windows 10? 

Since its coming out soon I'm sure they show more of Quantum Break. Also since its more then likely coming out on March the 1st I'm sure they show of the Porsche expansion pack for Forza 6.

I didnt even know there was an event planned.

It was announced back in January, I'll dig up some links. Where I read it at the author was hoping for an Xbox version of the Roku, but that wasn't based on rumor.

Yeah, they haven't really pushed the event hard.

So apparently its a closed event for the press only.

I remember reading about this but I completely forgot about it ever since then. I'm surprised Microsoft wouldn't be pushing it more then but maybe not many big things will be announced.

It looks like media can't mention what they are being shown until march 1st

Ironically, the xbox is the only device that wasn't listed in NX integration (pc, ps4, iphone, android - all mentioned).
