Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump destroys Jeb Bush

he is right about how going to the middle east destabilized the region, and how the W.O.M. was all bullshit lies to go to war.

I will probably just vote for whoever is against the slaughtering of babies in the womb, despite any of his/her deficiencies.

Not sure you really want to be looking to Saudia Arabia or Israel for advice on border considering the host ofproblems they both have. The Israel wall is approx. 430 miles. The Saudia Arabia-Iraq fencing/wall is 560 miles.

The US-Mexico border in just under 2000 miles. How exactly would Trump pay for this? How feasible a plan would it actually be? Please don't say he'd make Mexico pay for it because that would never happen in the real world. Besides, I think the US has plenty of other areas they could spend the money on.

The border is 2,000 miles but we only need fencing for about 700-800 miles of it.

Mexico will pay for the wall. And before you say that's not how it works - Trump had the media pay for his campaign.

I'm not sure if you're joking it's that ridiculous.

That's not the way real-life works. Unless the Mexicans get something spectacular in return, they won't pay a cent. It's a pipe dream. Getting the media to back and pay for a political campaign isn't comparable to international politics.

I sincerly believe that Bush thought, based on agency intelligence, that there were W.O.M.s there. Satalite images are difficult things to see clearly and sometimes you have to go with your gut. He was wrong in that case, but what he wasn't wrong about was Hussain violating international law and committing a genocide on his own people with chemical weapons (even if they weren't W.O.M.). Do we just sit around and allow some guy to slaughter people randomly, because it isn't our business, or do we go there and try to protect/free these people? Yes, I understand that ISIS and AL Queda and all the other radical islamic terrorists are, in many ways, far worse than just one crazy dictator, but 1) we had no way of knowing that we were going to trigger with people that are brainwashed and 2) it's difficult to resist the moral obligation to at least TRY to do something to help people when they are dying. I, truly, wouldn't have known what would have been the best response to it. I wouldn't trust myself or any other human to deal with that type of situation, but Bush HAD to deal with it and he chose what was his gut instinct.

Trump is right about this, but I certainly wouldn't trust him about running his country. And really he's just stating obvious facts, so this isn't all that impressive...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I hope Trump makes it to election day, because it will increase the chance of Bernie Sanders becoming president

I'm sorry, but the Democratic Party is too corrupt and wont allow Bernie Sanders to become the Democratic nominee.

Donald Trump throws accusations and doesn't bother to back up a single thing that he proceeds to bully Bush. And we're supposed to want this kind of person to become president? While I don't agree with Bush at all and I don't know how accurate these accusations he is throwing, I am pretty sure there is no chance of Bush making his way to the Oval office.

Bush has run over $20 million of negative ads against Trump. Doesn't Trump have the right to fight back?

NAFTA is an executive agreement. Congressional action on NAFTA has permitted the President to enter into these agreements. This means that the President has the authority to renegotiate these agreements under the trade acts passed by Congress in the 70's and 80's.

NAFTA has no expiration date but it must be periodically renegotiated. NAFTA benefits Mexico and big business in the USA and Donald Trump would be in a huge position to put Mexico in a vice over it. Mexico would gladly build a wall with their NAFTA trade surplus.

And bear in mind that he would have the backing of the AFL-CIO on this issue which may effect a massive Republican landslide in the general election. Trump is on the verge of becoming an unstoppable juggernaut.

When he says there will be a big, beautiful wall you'd better believe him.

To be fair, they are both awful.

Though i must laugh at Jeb thinking he could get points off his brother's presidency. He made that bed.
