For me, this is the most likely outcome (if true). I've been thinking about this since they announced DX12 for the XB1 in all honesty. A hybrid AlienWare like XB1/PC.

Well now THAT is interesting

This could be interesting - unless of course it is just a placeholder to prevent someone else from taking the domain; much like Square Enix might trademark IP names (ex: Final Fantasy XX) and get the domain for them.

This is probably far less significant than many people are imagining, especially since the "Xbox" brand is also used for PC gaming.

My guess is that it's just going to be a page for Microsoft published games that use or are available on Steam.
