Uuuh, too soon for the 7th gen. Maybe something like XD, when some of the 4th gen pokemons were shown. Also, we don't even know if that is a Pokemon.

I'm still sure Gen 7 is coming with the NX, November this year.

Could we get a new Pokemon gen as a launch title to a Nintendo system? That alone would make all Hell break loose. But I still defend my XD theory.

X and Y was 2013.

2016 doesn't seem all that early. It seems perfect. Especially considering Ash ain't far off his 8th badge in the anime.
